I know this Q must have been asked so many times. But I asked anyway..

I'm looking for 400cc bike, new or 2nd hand no problem. Every shop presented me with either S4 or DRZ 400.

Is there any other choice?

Any CB400 Super Boldor in Singapore?

Personally I would love to have a new 400 even though I have class2. because of my height disadvantage, i feel 400 is just nice for me. cbr 400rr hasd lots of sweet memories for me in the early 90s. then came vfr400. sweet. now it seems new sports 400 is much dead. oh forgot in the 90s we had cbr 400rr, vfr 400, suzi gsx400 , kawasaki 400 with the 2 pipes at the tank, yammie fzr400. oh my. wonder why no more new 400 sports. is it because 600 are getting smaller and more powerful. maybe yes. but because of the engine size of 600 they cannot make the 600 as short as the old favourites of mine. good luck. hope you find your sweet ride.

Dont think so. check with loois and other bike shop all say not bringing in. you can source for a used unit instead. aleast thats what i did. hehehe..

Kind of reluctant to get used unit, but will consider.

Will pay a visit to GHC Motor. Are they still the Suzuki Dealer?

Yep but they'll never bring in the GSR 400, no matter what as the GSR 400 is a JDM model.

Anyway, you could ask Mah or Loois Motors to parallel import one in but be prepared to fork out at least 19k for it as the yen is strong.

Don't worry bout 2nd hand products, just bring along a friend with the knowledge to look around. A good idea would be to start from the Used Bike Sale Section as buying from Private owners is always better than from shops.

Be sure to find a bike in good condition, there bound to be owners who will put in tender loving care for their bikes.

I just trying hard not to bein the mainstream... s4 is so.. boring.

My feelings exactly. The lack of variety in the 400cc category was what made me take class 2 license..

Current Rides:

FEB 07 -> NOV 08 [CBR 150]

AUG 08 -> AUG 12 [XJR400]

AUG 12 -> ??? [DUCATI MONSTER 696]

I like the 2012 kawasaki Ninja 400R. But the price for new one is ridiculous, not to mention that getting the spare parts for it is nearly impossible in Singapore.

yup, Evershine nvr bring in so most likely availability of spare parts is very low but fret not, kawasaki has a agent in JB with plenty of spare parts available. at least dun need to go to KL just to get parts
