School Rumble and Zoids Genesis anyone? 2nd Term for School Rumble started airing a month ago, episode 4 was on Sunday, while ZG finished airing, but the fansubs doing it are stuck at episode 20 (it has 50).

I'm downloading Daphne in the Brilliant Blue at the moment. That will take some time, even though I'm 83.3% done.

 

In the mean time, get MIRC and download One Piece through that.

MIRC is faster due to no upload and also no NAT error.

CS Kupoh: Episode 4 also out, if you want to download it. They had direct download links for some time earlier because their BT tracker was down, not sure if they still have them. Episodes 2 and 3 are awesome. 4 is onigiri power.

 

Anavrin: Dammit the story moves too slow. And TV Nihon likes to change translations in the middle of the series haha. Kirahan became Kidahan, prefer the former though, the way they pronounce it.

yah man... keep sidetracking one leh.... sometimes abit sian...haha but sometimes also exciting lah....Me prefer Megami Anime's translation though.. but their fansub is slower...

Quite a few peeps on my side are onto Fate Stay Night, not interested in it though. But I do know Archer is supposedly broke.

 

And yea, ZG keeps getting through all those useless stuff. Still, the zoid fighting parts are nice.

 

Megami is good but they have errors in translation, normally English ones. Nihon however has errors in translating things sometimes, what they type does not match what is being said.

Baka-Updates daily updates its index, it is actually a compilation of available series (unlicensed ones, I believe, like AnimeSuki, but Baka-Updates is much faster) and should be your site of choice to know about any series first-hand if you are unwilling to head to the individual tracker sites to find out yourself about individual anime series you are interested in.

 

Tracker sites are places where you can get a list of the torrents available for the tracker, anime fansub groups may use the same or different trackers, or even their own. Scarywater is pretty well-known, it hosts for one of the best fansubs out there, called Lunar Anime, which, until Viz licensed the series, did the best fansub for Bleach.

 

uTorrent is recommended as your BT client of choice, primarily because of some technical aspect of BT that uTorrent has. BitComet is no longer good, it seems that it is unable to wash off its bad reputation of reporting false data (which allows you to get a faster download speed and stuff). BitTornado is rather user-friendly, while Auzerus seems to be the BT client of choice for advanced and knowledgable users.

 

My current recommendations are uTorrent (and you really want this in the long run, some places have already banned BitComet, though most still allow it I think), BitComet and BitTornado. It is not unusual to use more than one BT client. Hope I helped.

 

Edit: You might want to check out AnimeNC for information on many anime series and fansub groups. Not fully updated but it might help.
