I'm watching that Kyo samurai show after all the recommendation. There's a character called Yukimura Sanada. Isn't he the one in Dynasty Warriors Orochi? And he uses a spear, not a Katana right?

well, i'm at ep 10 now... Still worth the watch but I've seen better ones... Nonetheless, I'll try to complete the series.

bro actually u can download a codec that will allow u to play rmvb or rm files using ur existing Windows Media Player have been using it for quite sometime. its called Real Alternative. google it i'm sure you'll be able to find it.

Anyone knows the Fullmetal Alchemist 2 and what's it abt? Totally different storyline? Where did the writers get the story from? I suppose it is not like its first anime series right? I loved the 1st series very much with the 7 deadly sins. But I'm not sure this 2nd part is as interesting or not.

I could not get much solid info abt the new series, anyone can share?

Ok, I got it. It is a remake cos' the first series deviated from the manga or something like that.

But this remake is bad.

In fact, this remake's 1st 2 episodes seemed very rushed. Esp the flashbacks, like flipping the pages of the manga, impatiently.

I wonder what's the motive.

 

Oh man, hope they don't spoil fma.... with a bad fma2.

good light-hearted anime to watch:

k-on!, cutie highschool girls band group, light music club.

saki, another highschool girls mahjong club.

 

plus this:

cross game, first episode already heart break....

i really hate kon and saki man . . hahaaa too bad minami-ke finish, ichigo mashimaro ova is too slow .

 

the current new on going one not very impressive, only ristorante paradiso caught my attention, kind of expected that since i was pretty impressed by michiko to hatchin

 

my overall summary on new goings on, sorry for being anal . . heavy manga geek, tend to be more anal towards anime

 

higurashi ova this is good, fans of higurashi fall in!

hajime no ippo bgm is horrible this season, and they actually changed the dam bloody seiyu of kumi. artwork changed to match current style, nt that bad actually

shangri-la this is erm, hard to judge this but im following this

tears to tiara is a pure massive fail, -> i played the game

natsu no arashi is naturally boring even for the manga as well, sad to see this from the author of school rumble (who also raped sr ending & create a new sr to be rape again, felt like a fool for following it for 6 years)

hayate no gotoko s2 this is decent, you like the s1, you will probably like this

saki too irrating to continue after 1st ep lol . . sorry akagi fan here. if im still younger, i would probably love the slight fanservice & artwork. rod old now

k-on this is also pulling my nerve. maybe i just like more serious ones like beck, comedy ones like nodame. rod old already.

ristorante paradiso love this, obvious sign of me changing to a old fart digging into seinen stuff

hatsukoi limited read finish the manga. typical shlt from the author of ichigo 100% again but enjoy da panties shot & wussie male leads!

 

there are some other new titles, like valkyries chronicles, cross game etc but didnt have the time to watch =(

After 5 years of persuasion from my anime buddy, I took the plunge and watched Bleach. I see why it's popular. 50 episodes down, many more to go......

One Piece is good. For Naruto, no comment 'cos I was warned not to watch it. My anime buddy told me though there're some good episodes for Naruto, the show is basically a filler within a filler within a filler.....

yeah, ur friend is rite. it's fillers b4 episode 200 in the old naruto story.

now it's worth watching naruto shippuuden, currently at 141 ep.

start from naruto returning back to hidden fire village at age 17.

he left for training at 14 n he's back, so far continue story is good.
