Hi Silverwing73 another question for your kind advice what do you think about going up Malaysia in this scooter to places like Kota Tinggi.

Main concern is the bumps along the way as the wheels are only 15" and 13" and speed in NSHW is about 120 km/h

Posted

Hi all, just got back from a return trip KL. speeds averaged 120 - 130 on NSHW.

fuel consumption arround 28KM/L . only due bad weather had to slow down, knowing i have ABS and TC but still.

Pumped after about 380KM with a big smile. 1.9RM/L

ride is smoothest arround 110 - 120 , since my length is about 6ft. much wind is catched.

must say water keeps away of low part of me.

even with Causeway flooded towards JB i managed to stay reasonable dry and dry feet.

That is seriously some good fuel consumption figures you have!

I'm really having doubts on owning Class 2 bikes with their exponentially higher price of maintenance; Insurance, road tax, fuel consumption compared to 300-400cc. Haha.

Hope to see more X10 350 on the roads! So far I'm only seeing my neighbor's X10 125 in the carpark everyday. Haha.

Dear all . . newbie here and I am glad to own one now :) Really happy with it . . very stable, smooth, sleek and love the big size :)

Just took my Piaggio 125 X10 last Saturday and running in now since engine is still new. Hope to see more X10 riders :)

Ya! I agree! My neighbor's X10 125 really didn't sound as strained as my ex-Kymco Downtown 125i! I have the gut feeling it'll be a no-fuss point A to point B mode of transport... And all that legroom!

I can imagine how powerful the X10 500 will be, even with just 40.5bhp!!!

Your fuel consumption should be around 35-38km/L. My neighbor is getting 380km per 10 liters he pump. Haha

Swee lah! Exact color as what my neighbor has!

The X10's riding position is good for normal 90 deg and fully stretched leg position. Haha. On my Majesty 400, I'll be cramp in no time if I were to ride the normal 90deg. I'm forced to stretch my legs. Though comfortable, on longer journeys when a varying riding position is appreciated, the Majesty ain't as good in this front.

Kudos to the designers of the Piaggio X10! I believe the 125cc model is selling brilliantly in Europe countries!

16yrs old can start riding Mopeds 50cc, up to 34mph.

17yrs old can start hanging a L Plate and ride up to 125cc, 15bhp scooters / motorcycles.

19yrs old can start riding A2 bikes; Up to 47bhp.

21yrs onwards, then can ride unlimited cc and power. Haha. So in that sense, they're pretty much like us Singaporeans -> So many licenses. Haha.

If only I had the money....

I am sure the X10 350 will be good enough for our roads. X10 125 not so powerful but it's just nice for getting u around :)

Hi Eddy, did you get the X10 from Heng Motors. There was one that was prepared for customer last week.

one thing, I like about x10 is that it goes over uneven road nicely.

yup, i agreed totally. very stable on uneven roads because road grip is very nice. i have been riding for almost 3 weeks and enjoying it every moment.

another unique feature is the traction control . . for me 1st time experiencing it. kinda weird when cornering cos you can feel the 'pull' when you are making a sharp turn . . well, end of it you feel safe since the traction control is helping to manage your cornering nicely.

today was very sad . . cos last nite "damn" a CAT !! slept on my X10 seat . . made some holes on the nylon seat cover too !! luckily the leather seat not affected. hate them man !! I am going to customised a cover for the seat from ticker material/fabric else sure have problem with CATS !!

Hi Eddy, compare to your previous scooter, how is the ride in terms of take off from standstill, cruising, uneven roads, cornering? With pillion rider, how is performance in all aspects mentioned earlier compare to previous scooter?
