I meant the brakeline connector that connect to the brake lever at the handle bar. it came off and nobody would notice it unless they happen to be infront and maybe cleaning the windscreen.

wondering it came loose by itself or someone itchy hand.

Finally managed to actually sit on the scoot (didn't wanna ka chiau my neighbor's 125cc X10) at Loois....

Machine $12.5k. So OTR excluding insurance about $2k more at $14.5k....

Sitting on the scoot, it makes my Majesty feel kinda puny. Haha. There's tonnes of legroom and thanks to the seat height, it's perfect to be seated with my legs 90deg to my thigh! On my Majesty, the seat's a bit low to the floorboard, so I'm theoretically forced to stretch my legs...

Found out from Mah Motor Aprilia Showroom that the SRV850 machine price is $18.5k, otr excluding insurance is about $21k (Same price as their 2012 stock clearance Aprilia Shiver 750GT)... Hope the Piaggio X10 500 is slightly cheaper. Haha.

My friends have been psychoing me out of maxi scooter and get onto road/ street bikes, but maxi scooters are getting better in terms of their design, practicalities, fun-to-ride factor. It's hard to go back to street bikes for me....

X10 is a great bike indeed bro... U will love it. I love looking at it LOL...admiring the design the curves ; a great piece of art from Italy!!!

Nice leg room and I just love takin it for a spin around my neighbourhood at nite. I remember...driving around and it always attracts on lookers. There was even this van driver wind down his window at a traffic junction to ask me how much it cost and said I got a terrific piece of bike!!

Haha....X10 worth the money spent man!!

I just love the engine sound too...really enjoyin everyday communiting in this machine ;-)

The maxi-scooter market here is still kinda small; But be assured that it's growing.

X10@196kg is heck a lot lighter than Honda SW-400T's 249kg lah!!! The Europeans really have talent in designing a good geometry chassis.

The Japanese until now still somehow cannot make a balanced bike; Especially their street bikes. Still so heavy compared to Europeans. LOL!!!!

Anyone here installed a top box for their X10? What's the damage like?

Mine came with the top box... And the design is suberp. Material quality is tip top. The motorshop has actually included it into OTR price liao.

Last nite..finally I went full throttle. Honestly, not fast cos mine with top box fitted... Top speed only 110km/h. Tested it on ECP...all the way the airport. Now....me kinda thinkin of ways to makin the 125cc go faster LOL... Mayb the topbox removed can go 120km/h... My ex GTS w topbox on and with my 11pound bowling ball inside can go 130km/h hahahaa... So X10 lost here sure bcos of the body of bike itself already so heavy...

Anyway...hahaa it's expected ;-)

Damn fast already bro.

Better not speed. Roads here nowadays irregularly paved and all...

Yes brother, I think the top box makes a difference. I didn't install it because it'll make the scooter back heavy. The X10 is quite proportionately balanced in terms of weight ratio front 42%/back 58%. I can imagine the box alone will make the scooter very light on the front...

That being said, if you need the box, you need the box... Speed-wise, it's not so critical as travelling in SG doesn't make a difference. I cruise at 80km/h all the time. But it'll be a big difference if you are travelling interstate up north. But again, how many times you do that in a year...?

Many people are shocked to hear my X10 is 125cc and they'll be like "Underpowered, heavy, slow, bad fuel consumption, etc..." But it's a matter of how you see it. Do all the above mentioned apply when you're scooting happily in SG? Yeah, thought so too...

Fuel consumption last night I topped up indicates 410km on 13.235liters, translating to 31km/l. I'm happy with my X10 125!!!

Piaggio X10 is a great scooter after. Fuel consumption is good, stable on uneven road, cornering is so safe and the look of it...best!! So far, no regrets man. Happy with this piece of machine.

Yup bro...I will never ride up to Malaysia anyway. I will drive a car instead cos it's safer... I meant safe from being rob man... Heard many story abt bikers being hit by car and rob.

Ok... Hope to meet up with some of u soon and we can show our ride ;-)

Well, I've been to JB a couple of times at night, and I can assure you that they don't give a hoot about scooters. Haha.

Although in theory, the thieves/ robbers there will wanna rob and steal anything they can find, they rather plan to steal more expensive bikes/ cars.

That said, it always pays to be more careful while traveling there.

*Yeap, am missing my ex 125cc scooter which could also give me 31km/L-35km/L easily.... Compared to now of 26-28km/L on my 400cc scooter. HAHA!!!! Makes a lot of difference.....

I have hit 130km/h with top box, so no issue but no willing to push further as it is quite light weight compared to my previous SW

Previously my ride was SYM GTS200. This is a very practical scooter, good underseat carriage space, 20hp for such a medium size ride therefore pick up power is good.

Piaggio X10 125 basically has better design and handles well on uneven roads. Cornering as mentioned . . with the traction control . . you feel really safe. With pillion so far ok for normal driving, I meant don't expect the take off to be real fast :)

Ya . . cold start i think this one need warm up. During morning, seems need to warm up engine a while cos when I rev it . . seems not moving & not smooth.

At this stage, I only clocked in about 400 and I still not dare to rev it hard. I ride slow and not even yet cross above 100km/h. Let me cross the 1000km mark and after 1st servicing, will go for test on the top speed.

Rev don't seems to be going up in the morning even after you rev could be due to the ASR as both wheels are not in sync and you are on main stand.

That said, yesterday, I took almost 5 mins to start up my ride over many tries and cranking it.....first time I encounter this

Yeah Mr.Biker and if u r those need for speed, X10 125cc definately not recommended. This is a scooter and not sports bike...tht's why it is built w the big storage space etc.

Collected my white X10 350 a month ago. Just did my 1k servicing yesterday. Some info to chip in.

Original top box costs $580 b4 GST. Heavier metal bar ends included probably to reduce front wobble at high speed due to the additional drag. Stock bar ends made of plastic. Comes with a note to raise front tire pressure to 250kpa if topbox is installed.

Managed to hit 140km/h on the meter. Still able to accelerate but did not try. This is with topbox.

Coolant leaked due to loose hose clamp. Had to tighten and top up.

Still unable to fill the tank without petrol splashing out when full.

Turbulent behind the windscreen. Have a givi one on order to see if that helps.

Hi Ivant... There's a sports type windscreen for X10. Not sure if ADH has it. My windscreen looks blur and cloudy..not sure if others have the same specs too?

Looking for something with more wind protection. I don't have a problem with clouding of the windscreen.

Hey...i just went for service but until now the service sign on the LCD panel still appear. Heng Motor mechanic still unable to figure out how to reset it.

I read the manual and nothing mentioned. Anyone knows how to reset?

Posted

To reset service minder, hold down SET button and turn key to "ON". You will see the wrench icon blinking. Continue holding for 10seconds till wrench disappear. Thats it.
