saw the new Kawasaki Ninja 400R and it looks identical to the Ninja 650. It's a street-touring bike and i think it's meant to compete with Honda CB400

Brought my Ninja 250R to Evershine 2 weeks ago for replacing the fork oil seal. my friend asked the uncle there (dunno is salesperson or boss) whether they gonna bring in this Ninja 400R. uncle say not bringing in which means the ones selling at Excel Cycle should be PI. information was 2 weeks ago, so maybe within this 2 weeks they decide to change their mind and bring the bike in? don't flame me if the information that i provide is wrong

why can't they just make a 400cc sports bike..? the 2a category needs more sports bikes imo

Because we have the 600's.

Singapore needs to raise 2A to 200-600cc.

Boring category. Neither here nor there and the bikes have been circulating around for such a long time.

in terms of styling I would prefer the 250, judging from the pictures it seems to be a comfortable ride. Would like to try it out one day.

the new ninja 250r and 400r are 2 different bikes. the ninja 250r is a sportsbike whereas the ninja 400r is a street bike. the ninja 250r number plate shld range from FBE - FBG and the ninja 400r shld be FBG unless owners decide to retain old number plates

cuz msia 2b license is until 250cc that's why they are spamming the 250r like crazy

Not really sports bike, the seating is rather conservative, 250s are popular with Msia because it represents the highest CC in its tax bracket or something, anything above is insanely expensive. A Spec 3 there can cost arnd 17k brand new if im not wrong.
