i'd like to ask any new owner for a review of the 300R. i'm downgrading next year and currently considering between the 300R and the duke390.

i rode pillion on a super4 and drz400 before, and i clearly felt that the single-cylinder drz400 was underpowered compared to the four-cylinder super4. but i'm scratching my head with the parallel twin ninja300, especially with a 100cc deficit.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

it is already available in sg

300r looks pretty damn good. but.. heard someone say it did not pass the lta test or something like that, so only the 250 will be in SG. sad stuff.

according to evershine, it wasnt approve when it was just released for the 1st 2 mths.. subsequently it has already been approve by lta

just went to excel and have a look at Ninja 300 and 400R, like 300 because of the exhaust and separated seat, dislike 400R because of the handle bar design and the 1 piece cushion design...

need help :(

u need to first understand that the ninja400 is actually an ER-6f with the engine downsleeved to 400cc in order to meet markets where a 400 gets lower taxes. it is heavy for a 400 because the body was designed to be pushed by the original 600cc engine (and even with the original 600cc engine journos have remarked that its heavy). it is as expensive as the 600 because essentially its the exact same bike.

the question is, why is the 400 in your consideration, and what does it have that the 300 doesn't? all i can think of is extra power, which is true enough but dont forget despite it packing an engine more powerful than the 300, its also pushing a body meant to be equipped with an even bigger engine.

yeah you are right. i'm riding daelim 125R now.the main reason to upgrade from 2B to 2A is the power of the bike. I never ride 400cc bike before until i take my 2A lesson at SSDC, impressed and scared by Super 4 power o.O , but i don't like super 4 :( although they have CBR 400 fairing version also not my type. that's why...

but after googled, ninja 400r seems mysterious, nothing much info and discussion, Ninja 300 really looks attractive (for fairing lover) but i'm quite sure very soon will have intension to upgrade to class 2 (although i'm not sure how powerful 300cc is =.=)

Any ninja 400 rider here?

My uncle just bought the 400 few weeks ago,He all the while riding 4 cylinders bikes and its like a culture shock for him to downgrade to 400cc twin cylinders bikes,Heavy is yes when youre with pillon. If solo the pick up is adequate enough till you can feel the power from mid torque. But i still feel its overprice for a 400cc bike
