Do not over inflate as it will make your tyres wear out faster & less grip on wet surfaces. Pump around 29 to 33 psi will do. After that ride for several days & observe if you are comfortable with it. If not, do the necessary by adding or reducing the pressure.

this one disagree though, personally use 51-53psi ( 350-370kpa ) on...

all my 2b bikes ( owned kup, sport, streetbikes, never owned scooter tho ) on singapore & malaysia roads...regardless of tyre brands...never owned 2a or class 2 before but i expect i will reduce accordingly for bigger bikes in that case.

no issues so far even in the wet...wear is the same as others using lower ( clue: it is the way of riding )...never been to track personally...but last time my track going buddy try out my 2b bike with 260-280kpa ( 38-41psi ) at PG, he liked that too!

class 2a or 2 big bikes, should be lower of course...

collecting my jupiter next wk too. cant wait to try it. btw, does anybody noe where i can get racing boy parts online? coz i dun go in msia 1.

U can try chong Aik international along desker road. Not sure if they bring that in. But domino they confirm sell. Whether they have stock or not is a totally different thing. Whatever it is, don't go buy anything from Lim Ah Boy. They might carry racing boy parts, but real or not is a totally different thing too.

never mind lah, small issue, me no like to argue, maybe we have different riding styles ( big factor, trust me )...just leave it at that...cause i am scared silly whenever it is reduced to the level you want...tried it all before...i got it to the present settings & never looked back, loved it all the way......so much better & SAFER for me & the way i ride...

enjoy yourself while out of town! cheers!

Guys, any street legal exo out yet? I got the bike out last year sept and installed street legal GPR for spark135 on it. Didnt go for inspection as the exo is not approve on MX yet. My friend is taking care of her now as I went oversea for work. I only rode her for a week and off I go.

No Bruce, this forum is a place for us to ask questions, share knowledge & learn new things. Not to argue. To me, I like to get the facts right so that we won't teach newer riders wrong information.

Let's not talk about track. Let's talk about normal riding on normal roads. 51-53psi (350-370kpa) like what you mentioned is seriously too high.

Ive ridden an X1, Spark, S4 & currently a DRZ.

For both X1 & Spark, the manual suggests 29psi (200kpa) for front, 33psi (225kpa) for rear WITH or WITHOUT PILLION.

For S4, the manual suggests 33psi (225kpa) for front, 36psi (250kpa) for rear without pillion OR 36psi (250kpa) for front, 42psi (290kpa) for rear with pillion.

For DRZ, Raptor recommends 30psi (206kpa) front & back.

So for you 51-53psi? That is seriously overinflating.

Overpressured tyres for tubeless can cause your inner tyre wall to tear, causing bumps also known as 'knuckles' along the tyres. It can also burst open.

For tubes, same thing. Can cause your tube to burst.

inflated-tyres.jpg

Over inflation also makes your tyres more rounded & have less grip on the road. During hot weather you will sure feel shiok due to less friction. But once it rains, that's it. I can go on and on but I think Ive made my point.

No street legal exhaust systems for Jupiter MX yet. Still pending LTA approval for Yoshimura & Leo Vince.
