No, now need to pass RTT first, then get PDL, then start on circuit.. Yes, can you can wear a fullface. Not advisable though, its gonna be hot, i tried it once before.

Is it? During my time can start circuit Lesson 1-4 without RTT.

But need RTT by Lesson 5, because after that need to go out on to public roads already, need PDL.

And no RTT = no PDL.

And... .... Yes. Even if you got class 3, class 4 & class 5 licence still have to take RTT. :(

Wear Full face also can. I wore Flip-Up helmet for my Class 2A and Class 2 lessons and tests.

No problem. Just that you will be the center of attention; ie. make mistake everyone can see.... :sian:

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

Erm.. for CDC now, u don't need to pass your RTT to be able to attend all 8 practicals..

To go for practical 1 - 5, u need BTT pass, circuit orientation done, and a valid PDL.

To go for practical 6 - 8, u need to have attended the Defensive Riding Theory (DRT) classes.

To book your TP, u need to clear all your practicals and pass your RTT.

You need a valid RTT pass. In case you take more than a year from your RTT pass date to take TP... Which may be my case, heh.

Wow now you need to take btt, rtt and drt?? So hard to get license now..

Yep... but if u've taken BTT for class 3 before, u dont need to take it again.. DRT for 2B is only 3 theory lessons and no practical.. wont add in to your waiting time if u manage to go for all 3 lessons before u clear ur prac 5.

From what I know, during your lessons for all classes (2B, 2A and 2) you want to wear the most stupid open-face helmet possible. Preferably the one provided by the school - it might be smelly, but you can always wash yourself after the lesson and you should.. :)

The rationale behind this is simple: first, you will look like a complete idiot wearing a full-face lid on a circuit; second, the instructors would want to see your face and hear what you have to say; third, as it has been mentioned earlier, it is going to be mega hot; last but not least, you do not want the instructors and testers (when you get to that stage) see in you a potential trouble maker and reward you with endless repeats.. :)

Keep low profile, concentrate on your lessons and you will be fine. Good luck!

Wear a liner or something, at least it won't be so bad if you use the schools helmet. I don't know if they charge you for renting now though, CDC charges for rental of padding at $5 a pop, so it can add up if you end up taking lessons repeatedly.

Erm.. note: CDC no longer has helmets for students' use.. u hav to bring ur own helmet (no full face) and elbow & knee pads MUST be worn during the lesson now..
