your fuel consumption is not that bad. there are others half tank only go 60km. if u are all for savings on petrol, then u shouldn't ride SP. u shdn't have any 2-strokes as your ride. u should get a 4-stroke bike. something like YBR125, CBR150, or TA200. u can go for wave or x1 if u are crazy over money spent on fuel. [like me]

 

one fine day, follow us to AGL and ask the mechs there to run ur engine lean. get a stock fuel pin and carburettor in SG and remove fast throttles (if any), followed by a reduction in the amount of throttling on your part, coupled with frequent free-wheeling downslopes and red lights, keeping in mind not to exceed 6999rpm at all gears.

 

that should double your mileage to 160km per half tank.

me yr 3, i park at blk72 shelter.....the setting for higher speed, if not currently the 138 needle won't supply enough petrol to the engine will cause siezures, i guess.....

i used to park at blk 72 oso.... I will b graduating this june... not enuff petrol wun cause seizure, juz not enuff power onli....

depend on wat plate and the condition la. confirm above 3K OTR for FT and FU.

 

don't buy from motordiam. buy from us. most of the SP in the motordiams are heaps of junk that will boost ur OTR to 4k within two months of your purchase.

is OTR price hor. OTR means everything included inside liao. machine price is another thing. dont later u go motordiam then they tell u FS plate going for 2.5k machine price u so happy agree liao then realise it add up become 3.5 then u bang balls....

hahaha okie dokie... so most of time u buy from private seller is OTR la... unless their COE or road tax or insurance expire la... rite???

haha ya if i pay 3.5 for a normal motordiam SP i will bang my head...

the price private seller quote is simply the amount of cash they want to receive.

 

u still have to add in the price of your own insurance and the transfer fee. COE and road tax is usually still valid at the point of sale. if it isn't, then u must not buy it.

Hahas i remb its u who told me that its highly recommended that e laquering bring to spray shop to do. That made me change my mind on diy.

 

bro.. only the lacquering part only .. the bike paintowrk.. u can still do urself mah.. how many colourus u want oso can do.. haha.. if bike shop.. charge by colour n desgin .. so diy means u can (if ure skillful enuf) do how many color n pattern u want.. hehe imho shop lacqeur better than us. hehe

If it means ur fairing like broken off n missing a lot pieces need to patch back using fibre cloth then he charge u new set $70 its a very very good deal.

If ur chui is just plain scratches, tank abit dented then total $350 still qte a good deal also.

my chui means chui liao.. haha.. no missing piece but got few parts crack till very jialat.. if were to take out from the bike will hav a few extra pieces. n scratches alot... not possible to diy bak liao. i shd b going down 2 weeks after get pay. i confirm the shop location n products quality then update u guys again.

guys i need ur help , my sp right , when ever i stop , got lots of smoke coming out from my engine , and also my bike got knocking/sractching sound wat ever gear im in , and also once de bike around 120 km/hr , like very hard to go up liao , de bike like very noisy & vibrating alot , my sp is still under warranty i hope u guys can help me , in telling me wats de problems , so i can faster push de bike back to de shop while its still under warranty , im still a green rider , non of my friends ride sp , so i cant ask anyone wats de problem , except for u guys .

im damn farking tulan liao , wat ever gear im in de bike got knocking/scratching sound , and once 120km/hr its start to vibrate and farking noisy , faster help me , i got left 1 1/2 week till my warranty ends , and im cmf gonna fark de bike shop left , right , up and down .. i tot of bringing the bike to de track , and now my finger is just holding de clutch getting ready to clutch in , cos i got de farking feeling my bike piston is gonna jam anytime soon ... haixx damn sianz sia ...

seriously, dont expect much from the 'warrenty' ^^

 

bring it to a competent mech, ask him check for you. in the forum, we can only aga aga, some probs we can help with cause some kanna same symptoms before. some probs we wont know unless we hear or feel ourselves.. dont hold your expectations too high for a 2nd hand bike.. all 2nd hand bikes must at least do up abit before each of us are happy with it lol

 

you got a choice! sell your sp now! BUY MINE HAHAHAHAHA (at least to do up mine to your own liking is MUCH easier )

yest try to diy change clutch plates and disc but the cb honda

their clutch carriage need a special tool to remove the bolt and i dont have ~_~

have to bring to shop

But actually dunno got really take out or nt leh.. cos the mech just plug out the connector from meter and cut off 1 of the side.. then my RPM cannot move.. in the end he fix the rpm for me le.. dunno he got put back the connector from the meter in order for the rpm to work nt.. ^^
