What is the top speed for your SP? Stock with no mods. My SP with pillion top speed is only 120km/h and change gear ard 7 RPM. Is it normal? Have to check because I just got this SP and dunno whether got anything wrong with bike or not.

fnee... how much for the rectifier?? my battery dun seem to charge too.. sianZz...

i now no longer using the dry cell liaoz.. use the water powered battery like better le... the dry cell i pass to my friend ask him charge at home.. next time can reuse.. =P

If yr battery prob keep coming .... buy the charger charge at home.. =P

ok. first, u never do service in SG before, fair enough. i did once i never ever will i do in singapore again. and don't hear old man say ok, all the old man are good fren with boss and old mechs (all around same age one mah) and most old man ride old scooter RXK which is cheap and easy to repair and hard to carrot, cos they all fren fren mah! right?

 

and the rectifier, if it's spoilt why dont u replace it? charge at home, no need pay electricity bill ah? then u think sp batt easy to take out all the time, must remove the fairing and then unplug the wire, if u dunno how to do u can spoil it u know.

rectifier i'm not sure how much. got it changed for free at HKL when my bike was still under warranty.

 

i also thought of changing to wet cell. but lazy to remove fairing to top up battery water. like what flykite said, quite troublesome to keep taking out battery to top up water.

 

so i changed my battery at HKL today. $25 for GPR dry cell.

i only travel at 40kmph... my sp is only 3 gear gear 1 neutral and gear 2 . i remove 3 4 5 6. to prevent myself from speeding. my rpm max can go is only 5000 =x

Leonard87: nvm la, let them all suan me. cause now my paintwork is even more fked up. not only head cowling has a hole. right panels totally destroyed. lol. may fly off at excessive speed.

Haha.. pillion my friend @ 160km/hr before but still please do not speed. i was young at that time.. so please think before speeding..

 

pillion very hard to pick up speed once at top gear ah.. don't waste petrol laa, expensive. lol..

 

top spd low doesnt mean ur bikes spoil ah, it ur spocket small top speed lower i suppose

eh... few days ago i was eating with my frens at agl. i think it's a wednesday. i was sitting just in front of the bike shop when this mechanic whack a sp until all smoke comes my way i was eating. I guess it's just my luck. But the mechanic took the bike and test ride. Did a wheelie with it. To my knowledge, wheelie will cause stress to ur engine unless ur engine can produce a high power within secs. Wheelie with SP is just causing stress to the engine. I did ask ah hao to do wheelie with my SP years back. But he rejected me cause he told me will damage the engine. So i'm just trying to voice out. Test ride no need to wheelie one. Just a fast pickup will do. Anyway i remember the bike no is FS57*2. Do take care riding.
