racing foot rest legal for inspection ma? my height 183 leh.. dunno wan to install anot. the hunter brand like not bad leh..

hey thanks for your reply vtec. i think its the rpm cause last time it used to always run to 3 when idling speed. then my friend help me adjust back to around 1.2 like that.

Hey bro i just thought of overhauling my bike leh..cos i went to a bike shop he told me that my pistan like abit spoil liao,,then cannot hit top speed,should i overhaul?

 

i'm worry that wait overhaul then still got problems? or will overhaul be good for my old bike ar? it can last for 1 year?

 

here the package:

Top Overhaul Package: $220

- Replace piston

- Replace piston ring

- Service valves

- Service/tune carburetor

- Polish block

- Polish cylinder head

- Replace gasket

- Engine oil

- Spark plug

- Lubricate/adjust drive chain

- Check tyre pressure

- Check electrical lighting

- Check brake fluid

- Check brake pads

- Check coolant

- Check clutch

 

SHould i do it? Because i'm thinking if i overhaul it will just solve all my problems and i can have a smooth ride for a long time without any worrys..

well i think tat;s the price from Unique motor right? if u do in SG, the price about that lor.. i last time do full service without changing anything beside engine oil and spark plug cost me about $80 liao.. then workmanship sucks big time..

 

so if good parts and original honda part, think 220 should be okay..

 

of course, alternative is AGL.. might be cheaper.. but might not.. and if you insist to try AGL, get those know AGL well to go with u..

wah u mean ur idlig at 3? so high ur engine not hot ar. mine stick at 1.1.. in between 1 - 1.2 ... ok le la. haha

adjust high abit lor.. may b 1.4K.. think rpm too low easy to die..

 

anyway, my own SP set at 1.8 since 1st day... though petrol comsuption may b abit high in theory (it didn't seem bother me though since i travel near). but bike more "power"... lol

wow...same height as me sia...when i riding SP,i using the original footrest...coz tried my friend's racing footrest like so weird.Position also not very comfortable lehz...

warrior83: clutch(biting point), personal preference. i like it far. tuning, do it after u wash ur carb, let mechanic do. but u can let him know whether u want pick-up or top speed. fuel intake, change fuel needle. vavle opening rpm, also let mech adjust.

as for installing it.. hmmz.. depends on u bah~ ur own comfort..
