Need help bout SP exhaust pipe (not end-can)...

My TZM exhaust pipe got cracked open end of the pipe. Thought of changing to Original/Stock Pipe..

 

If people say modded pipe what does it mean?

Hi i need urgent hlp. zz i ride my bike for 5 mins and the temperature meter goes up by 75 % already reaching H soon.zzz but when i blast at gear 5 it goes down. if i ride 60 - 70 go up very fast ... it goes up fastest when its a neutral. my coolen tank is full and im not riding at reserve. can some one give me some advice?

Hahax.. Maybe ur radiator got stuck with sumething...

 

U havent see mine, the needle only move up to 15% after 30 mins riding at jam... Dunno what happened. Last time used to get 75% reading due to many stoppage at jam...

coolant too much water? ard half is enough i guess. maybe bring to planet check your radiator . Maybe seal spoilt. go planet. ^^

hi, im a new sp rider. got a qns ! my fuel tank havent plus reserve only can run about 150-170km only. i see forum other sp can tahan until 210km w/o reserve. i really wish to know why my FC so high ah?

 

 

ohya and high RPM change gear eat more petrol ????

 

 

how to save petrol ah?? i very poor now after taking the bike and insurances. lolx

 

 

 

dont worry about the FC la brudder, SP like that la. about every 3 days pump $8-$10 worth of petrol already... and try to faster kick up gear(kick up around 4k RPM). i was advised by my friend to do that and so far, quite ok la for me.

 

PS: im sure you got this bike for transport and also to look decent so dont whack too much la, no matter how much you whack, its still a 150cc bike. dont expect too much from it

I would change the radiator cap first ( less than $10). The radiator cap is spring loaded to hold pressure ( normally 1.4 bar which is printed on the cap).

When your radiator coolant heats up.. it expands and the whole radiator assembly builds up pressure, hoses included.

 

By keeping a head pressure on the coolant... the efficiciency of the radiator is enhanced because the boiling point of the liquid is raised.

 

That is why you never open a radiator cap when the engine is hot... the sudden drop in pressure will cause the hot coolant to turn to vapour (boil) and super heated steam will come shooting out.

 

The spring in the radiator cap loses its force after a while... so if you have not change your radiator cap recently... I would do that first. The fact that the temperature can come down when you are cruising on 5th gear proves that the coolant pump is working fine.
