not zhun cos if that's the case,rvf has around 45-49bhp...

Below quote are specs for a pgm 4

Maximum Power: 40PS @ 9000 rpm
Maximum Torque: 3.3Kg-m @ 8500 rpm

I think I got the thing wrong, its max HP @ 10.5k RPM and max torque @ 5.2k RPM

Keep getting them mixed up... And yea I did mean the change gear at slightly higher RPM so it won't dropped below max torque for greater pick up. Maybe I was too tired when I typed that bull I heard.

I noticed one more thing, its very smoother when I change around 4.5k RPM but of course if you want faster pick up, go for the higher RPM gear change. I tend to change @ 4.5k RPM at lower gears and then keep my RPM above 5.2k RPM on higher gears.

eh.. max torque at 5.2k rpm meh?

i thought the 'usable' power is at 5250-10500? its written on a sticker on the throttle... someone who knows how to read thai tell us what it actually says leh lol..

rvf stock is 53 leh (or so honda claims)..

Hmm, You know what, after I read Blackheart the link which states 9000 RPM is the max torque and 10500 RPM is the max horse power, I'm starting to ponder about what my friends told me LoL~

Maybe my friend was bullshitting me Zzz Anyway, that sticker thing someone decipher leh~ ha~

Guys, wed anyone going to motorshop ? in JB ?

or if anyone free could bring me go ? cause its my off day on Wed and i dun get off on a Exact day, working in hotel line.

Been wanting to do my bike but dunno where to do.

So could any kind soul bring me there ? or outing to motorshop ?

There's no such things as PILLION/PRIVATE Riding Insurance

btw, a aftermarket single seater is not APPROVE unless the factory supply the OEM single seat together wif the bike...

Original supply together with the bike if u buy it 1st hand..Vicom has the specs sheet for the bikes to screen thru..

All suzuki cl2 bikes comes wif a original single seat cover..

a aftermarket single seat is not approve in the eyes of the authorities...

and yes, the insurance is based on the owner aka insurance policy holder's details..it doesnt matter if u have a pillion or wat..

Hmm not sure what u all talking about leh... but to put it in simple terms is it that SP cannot have single seaters (As in by right la), which means sure fail LTA la.

But then I think actually if you know how to change yourself then hor, when go check just change lor but provided your paintwork ok ok la... LoL~

I got one question to raise about this (Because I was thinking of changing to 1 seater but then hor never see before leh lol) what if TP see? won't do anything right? (Of course without pillion la... single seater how can pillion anyhow anyhow)

Single seat can pillion(See ur pillion ass can take it a not)

This one ar..Under ROVs, TP wouldnt care..

Putting a Single Seater will have to give up ur under seat storage..

2 kinds of single seat,cover or remould single seat..

Sorry, a newbie myself but...

Zhong_85: not sure which engine oil to buy, buy one btl from singapore go loh...

good brands are Maxima/Motul/Fuchs etc..

these are the kinds of EO which are rather rare to find in M'sia

if not settle for the normal brands like castrol or esso.. either semi synthetic for fully synthethic..(the latter is slightly more exp)

more exp usually means much better heh

then the rest of the servicing parts (sparkplugs etc) can get from there...cheap cheap!!

Yandaoz: Bro, X ring is definitely better than O ring, abit more pricey too...

Go for the good brands... I'm new to bikes too but i heard the good brands u could go for are DID or RK chains....

If I've provided any wrong info pls forgive me and feel free to correct me...
