What kinda service do we have to do every 3000 to 5000km ?

Change enjine oil, spark plug ?

See if brake pads needs.. what else ?

Is there any service available to make the enjine sound lesser noisy??

Cheers

Ya. Every tm i change gear oil, spark plug. but oso need check batt water(If u batt is wet batt), brake oil, check tire(if botak must change) , adjust chain (if very lose), adjust timing.

I do overhal every 25000km & do all the thing by following plus change coolant only... :cheeky:

1 more suggestion is: If can change u cluck wire every year. If cluth old liao, it will broken & cannot drive the bike. Last tm my cluth oso broken lucky near my hse i still can push bk to my hm, if broken at highway then will very very poor thing oh...

Not every batt oso hav high and low indicator but basicly hav 'Maximen' line for batt acid water loh. U can check u batt must hav 1 line on the side loh... :sian:

What he mean is every wet cell has a high/low marking to indicate the level of the battery water..Take a look @ a dry cell, they dun have marking..

I do overhal every 25000km & do all the thing by following plus change coolant only

[J], it's full/top service.Not overhaul.

1 more suggestion is: If can change u cluck wire every year. If cluth old liao, it will broken & cannot drive the bike.

U basically change a clutch wire @ around 25km click if properly maintain and lubricate..1 more pt to note is not to let the clutch have too much freeplay..More prone to snap in such cases.

i was on my way home when i had problems with my throttle. usually, just opening it a slight bit will produce a pushing force that can be felt but i had to open it more than half to move the bike. next thing i knew, i opened it fully and the bike just died off silently. stuck at road shoulder wondering wtf was wrong, suspected throttle was disengaged or damaged. couldn't engage clutch to neutral, imagination ran wild. clutch plates worned? piston seized? carburetor's air/ fuel ratio uneven? sat on my bike like a fool for around 5 minutes before i switched on the ignition again.

Gently tap on ur rear brake whenever ur front wheel goes over a bump.Lean more weight towards the front.Open ur throttle abit more when ur front wheel touches the bump..

i didnt manage to get a eye on a dry cell. i think i shld be able to post my batt pic soon then get u guys take alook

btw. dry cell must do initial charge? then consecutive how to charge? bring down shop or just rev the bike?

wet cell just maintain the batt water between the 2high low indicators right. no need to charge or wat. just top batt water then can plug and play and install into the bike le right?

the 'tuck tuck tuck' sound is your clutch housing. its just loose, doesnt affect in any way at all. you can have it repaired for 30-40 dollars at most bike shops.

tuning probs you can just go to any respectable bike shop to get it done. if its smooth at high rpm, isnt that good? if you want smooth, you wont get power at the high rpm range. its what kinda rider you are, just explain to the mech what you want he would tune for you for a fee (i did my tuning in sg for 20 i think last time, maybe kanna ketok.. maybe not...)

it depends on which ebc pads you are using, last time i was using daytona/sbs and they worked fine... the sbs was good on wet/dry weather. ebc HHs are great for all weather thou, but they are more pricey.. the normal ebc kevlar pads are just.. okay imho. i would take the normal ceremic sbs for my front brake. ut of course, if you want to keep your bike for awhile, its best to invest in steel braided lines. there are cheap ones, but i would recommend you to get the HEL brake lines. i think its around 130ish for front and rear thou.

gear oil is your so called 'engine oil'. it just lubricates your gears... doesnt have anything to do with the piston and such. just remember to use GOOD 2t. dont skimp and use those lousy ones... u'll end up with alot of probs in the long run.

oh yeah, join us for our sp outings sometime ya? :)
