hi guys, how much to change the ignition and the chain? my mechanic say my chain too thick not good.. he recommend 1 chain $110 very thin.. he say thick chain will spoil gear box..

IMHO, i think thicker chain with reputable brands can last a long time if u willing spend abit more.

U are making most of us here jealous. 2 yrs ago my insurance was 200+ and because of those drivers keep claiming insurance that made it shoot up till 300+ last yr for me. Da"m

recently my sp have loads of white smoke coming out , 2t oil about 1 bottle per month , everyday use of about 1 hr . what are the possible cause of this ?

bike condition : engine sound normal , fuel consumption 180km per full tank . gear change normal clutch normal . engine oil just change one week . wash carb and piston and valve and cylinder block yesterday .

 

some bike shop tell me is because the clearance gap between the piston ring and the cylinder block , that cause burn gas to escape out of it .

 

some say because engine oil from clutch area have leak out from the seal to the piston .

 

some say exhaust too dirty, cant filter out the exhaust . exhaust de-carbonize last year dec

 

anyone know which shop can i get the cheapest de carbonize ( either in singapore or jb )

It is true about exhaust dirty.

About the smoke is normal for 2 strokes... what 2T oil you are using. What brand.. And fully or semi sym? If you telling me you are using mobil or shell 2T... confirma lot of smoke...
