i traded in my FT to the shop for 2k. it had RK O-ring chain and that was degreased; lubed with chain wax every week. bike was washed thoroughly and waxed too. never ever had an accident on it. no scars on me to prove that.

only problem was my bald tyres, nothing else.

u msg and if seious i give u my number to contact me ok..

2.7k... really too ex liaoz. even though the condition good, but still over priced for the age of the bike. see classified, FR FS FT all seldom exceed 2.5k, despite the good condition of the vehicle. summore he still has 22 months of $117 installments to go. I seriously don't believe your friend downpaid $2.X k for the FP plate. In this case i presume he's trying to earn from selling the bike? unless he changed new stuff, like new chain and tyres etc etc.

eh dun blame flykite for using the word dismembered, 2 reasons for him to use it. firstly, he's too tired. secondly, he didn't see the victim himself, we saw, and then he heard the different descriptions from us, thus i think he made his own theory.

and lastly, he's very correct about the satisfied riders part. at least i am. haha.[/b]

thanx chenz. basically, im tired and its "said to be". Anyway thinking back, it should be more politically correct to say "its like some sort of broken". noticed some grammatical errors only now. but who cares.

eh flykite, yesterday u say pump tires how much pressure ah? 180/200 or 200/220? I think i was too tired for that message to register in my brain lol.

imho road dont below 200 can le

track den lower pressure by 10-20kpa cos need more traction

i used to do 250/230 rear/front. its shiok, very little grip, and improve FC. but corner have to do slow and wet weather very dangerous. now i do 220/200, but when pillon cai, i top it to 230/210, pillon other male fren 240/220.

higher pressure = more smooth on straights and expressway = less grip on corners

lower pressure = more draggy on straights and expressway = more grip on corners

I think the price is higher becos additional 5-yr COE has been added into it. if kambing says that machine price for FT at average 2.26k at the shops, and a well-known fact that FT only until 2011 (latest), so FP till 2013 means COE extended.

which, IMO, might push the value up to 2.3 ~ 2.4k cos of the increased number of yrs OTR, but 2.7k is a little on the high side, even if bike is in good condition.

afterall, it's a 1998 manufacture, how good can it get as compared to a 2001 manufacture?
