u can juz get one if u decide to spend a lot of your time with it. else get a pair iz better. but then again, if u got no time, dun buy for e sake of buying.

birds also need to be showered with lots of love!!!!!!!!!

it need not be living in pair. you can just get one, then the bird will be bonded to you. make sure you are buying a baby birds, just weaned is the best. i got many lovebirds before...20plus!!! now reduce to 2 only plus an amazon parrot too many can be a problem.

if you don't mind them shitting around when let them out to play then it's real fun :cheer:

if you get 2 baby togather then fighting is not a problem. but if you buy seperate adults togather then it may be a problem :giddy:

regarding your dog? why not chain it when letting the birds out. or simply just let the lovebird stay on/around your body. they like to cling on clothing or inside your pocket!

can also make a mini stand with undertray to place on table for the lovebird to play around and your dog can only watch below

so getting one? just remember to get baby. for me about 3 to 5 weeks old is the best.

not sure if the post was directed to me, however, 3 budgies are tough enough to handle. doubt my neighbours can tolerate another african grey. i would seriously love to get one though...:lovestruck:

... luvbirds or no luvbirds... all i noe is if u luv birds..

SET THEM FREE! they belong to the skies for goodness sake...

Yeah!! Thats very true!!

But for those Love Bird (Budgie) that we buy from Bird Shop, they will not survive long, if we set them free to the wild, as they are used to been feed and have no nature ability to look for food.

 But eventually I had set my two beloved Budgie in the wild

Hope they are doing fine :thumb:

Cheers
