Nea on white smoke

Jus wonder wat is the chances of getting caught by NEA for emitting white smoke on 2T bike, recently i receive a letter from NEA saying mine bike Emitted white smoke and therefore fined $70.I was not stop on the spot, tat y i am curious

 

-How they determined tat ur bike is emitted too many white smoke without going for any inspection ??

-Jus by looking at the pic they took ?

 

i tot its very normal to have white smoke from 2T bike, its like asking ppl to smoke Cigarettes without puffing white smoke.

Bro...switch to premix...normal road riding premix ratio can go lower..also better quality full synthetic 2t produce lesser white smoke and u can add lesser too

I believe what he meant was what evidence determined his $70 fine.

 

@skyblood Fellow bro here mentioned a solution for emitting less smoke. However bear in mind that 2T is essential for 2-strokers for lubricating pistons, however by

compromising premix ratio, more provlems may surface. However it's true that better quality 2T may produce lesser smoke, but cost is another issue. You could try getting the definition of excessive smoke from the authorities.

my friends ride old bike..kena twice...the 1st he pay..the 2nd ( within 1 week) he appeal n see the video..yes it is determine by visual "white smoke" emitted. for him is obvious coz its like smoke ten sticks kinda smoke..in the end it is waive coz he show's receipt tat it was being repaired on the same day of 2nd offence.

thanx for sharing ur experience.. i jus feel tat by taking pic or video does not nessecary mean the bike is producing alot of white smoke unless u go for inspection, if i fail the inspection than of cos i am willing to pay for the fines, but if u are telling me to see the pic taken, than i find it quite bull **** from NEA

if you wan to go through inspection center for the white smoke ,

i can bet in future, all those who send their bikes to inspection via bikeshop will not have an easy life.

 

esp those who change taillight ,footrest and all .

I feel u bro. Im like two stroker bike. So far I kena from NEA 4 times up to date. I wouldnt be surprise. if i kena again.

"the upper management" is trying to cut down on 2 stroke bike , reason i'm also unsure . so i guess they will find way to discourage people using 2 stroke by coming out all these stun . whatever thing can still be change to stock , so they will just keep aiming on smoke .

yeah that was what i heard too. whether its true or not i'm not too sure. maybe the reason is that they wanna lower the emissions of smoke on the streets?

They should catch those stupid heavy vehicles emitting so much black smoke instead...

This practise has been around for ages. The officer will just simply catch you based on visual and summon you later. Lorry with black smoke are not spared either.

Be careful when enterin checkpoint from malaysia. Nea cn also catch u der. Dey have an office der as well
