Road Tax / Insurance dates not in sync. How to extend?

hi

 

i tried to renew roadtax for one year*

but was rejected coz the insurance coverage would have lapsed by then.

 

i have a question: lets say the 6 months road tax lapsed in August, i wont be able to extend coz my insurance lapses in November.

 

What should I do in such circumstances? Thanks.

u can extend your insurance till the date of your rd tax

but u need to bring ur rd tax letter as a proof to show them

Any updates? What did the insurance company say? I am having the same problem now and my insurance is with dbs and I don't know whether they would let me pro rate it, any bros here can advise?

Yes should be able to, just renewed mine but opted not to extend due to my ncd calculation.

I didn't bring road tax letter as it can be verified online, hope this help. :-)
