1) Wats the difference between X1-R and spark?

2) Are they both 135cc?

3) How much is it to top up full tank patrol on this 2 bikes?

4) How many kilometers can this bikes go on full tank?

5) Which is easier and cheaper to maintain and to do servicing?

6) How much is the servicing for the bikes?

7) Wat are the top speed for both the bikes?

8) Which bike do u guys recommend me to get and why?

9) Are they both using clutch? (I PREFER CLUTCH)

The answers are only to my knowledge, do not trust it completely.

1) Both are technically the same bike

2) Both are 135cc

3) Spark's tank is paper stated 4L, X1-R i think is the same, so a rough $8 +/- per full tank

4) Spark's rough range around 40-45km/l, supposed 160km?

5) Both are cups, meant to be easily serviced.

6) Different shops charges differently, some high end shop might charge higher than others?

7) Different bikes/Setups lead to different top speeds, but what for top speed, when there is speed limit.

8) nil

9) Spark has clutchless and clutched, I think X1-R is clutched

10) don't know.

i prefer x1r in terms of exterior, both bikes uses clutch but spark has an auto and manual one.

both petrol shld be lesser than 10bucks, spark can custom more accesories than x1r, both 135cc

herd that stock spark faster than x1r. Yeap thats all i know for now.

Ouh well thanks bro. So spark has auto and clutch is it? Is there any specific model for spark that uses clutch?

Btw i agree X1R exterior is nice. I also like it.

No prob! just sharing what i learn here as well. :)

spark rr - manual

from what i know, x1r rear brake is using disc while spark is using drum.. disc brake is much better. i used to own a spark but ovarall both bike is around the same but exterior will be x1r . looks better.

Guys how about Yamaha 125z? Wat do u think about this bike with all my question above?

IMO, It's just a 2-stroke variant to the mopeds and having more gear ratios, 6 gears, instead of Spark's 5 or 4 for previous models.

I see.. btw does both bikes get easily overheated when riding long period and during jams? Both got coolant?

2B bikes aren't hot to start with, and these 2 bikes are mostly new builds, unlike old Honda NSRs.

No prob! just sharing what i learn here as well. :)

spark rr - manual

spark rx - auto

Spark RX would be clutchless at the handlebar, not auto though, auto would be scooter's transmission.

The clutch for Spark RX is with the gear lever, whenever you kick down, it combines the clutch in and gear change, If I'm not wrong.

1) They are pretty much the same, except for the fork and coversets.

2) Both are 135cc

3) Full tank is around $8+?

4) Around 160km on full tank: 40km/ 1L. Fuel Tank cap is ard 4L

5) Both are reasonably cheap to maintain.. depends which shop you go to

6) can't remeber bout service cost. sold my spark quite some time back.

7) Top speed for both are ard 135-140km/h

8) Both are almost the same so see which one looks nicer for u

9) Both use clutch. I have seen some semi- auto spark... but majority are manual

10) You can mod both bikes quite abit. My mechanic is Wing Yap Motor. They have alot of Spark and X1R accessories there. But abit expensive

Hope this helped :)

Guys how about Yamaha 125z? Wat do u think about this bike with all my question above?

i assume you already know that 125z is 2 stroke kup not the usual 4 stroke kup, right?

i also assume you know that there is no new 125z, can only buy used bike.

are you still interested? if so, go check out the old birds in the 125z threads for further details. if not, no point going on deeper...regards.

PS: btw, yamaha brought the jupiter mx 135 into sg last year. very similar to spark or x-1r but got some difference, i have seen their thread here in sbf under cubs section. as it is a new bike, you can also seek info fom there.

I actually can't tell which is which :p

125z has quite a sharper tail, and the front cowling is quite big, as it does not shows the fork that much, compared to Spark and X1-Rs.

New 135LCs would be Jupiter MX, it's somewhat like a 5-speed, rear-disc brake Spark and with bigger rear tyres for better comfort maybe or handling?

Jupiter MX 135 has a new facelift too, the asethetics are quite different from Sparks and X1-Rs
