i also pump 220 front and 250 rear. FC 280km before reserve. Now you pump what pressure? Must learn from you.

hi all,

mine is TECH 3

fuel is 25.5km/litre (v-power)

change gear at 3.5k--4k RPM

no drag,crusing at 80km/h--90km/h

when moving,reserve hits at 355km--360km

estimate 25.5km x 18litre full tank = 459km.

max travel 401.1km than pump petrol liao nextime try untill 450km than pump.

believe it or not v-power helps to save mileage n keeps engine clean n power. :cheeky:

Dun know abt v-power but i think running on a higher octane fuel ... means efficient combustion but probably also higher comsumption ... plus its more ex lah ...

Anyways result of my experiment is as follows :-

Running on 3 liters mobil/esso fuel ... not premium ...

Distance frm home to work - approx 33.5km

Mileage at start - 102020

Mileage at end - 102105

Mileage 85km . +/- the meter start flashin ...

85 / 3 = 28.3km/l roughly lah

Run at 80-90km occasional 95

Rpm at 3.5 - 4

Warm up about 1-2 min

i do notice my bike eat up more fuel using V-power but smoother ride of course compare to normal petrol. (pump at JB)

yups i agree .... its a lot smoother on v power .....

find the ride a bit rougher using normal power ... thinkin of mixing the fuel the nex time

I using Pirelli. Sport Demon is a really lasting tire IMHO but wet weather quite no grip at all.

Coolant using WaterWetter.

EO using REV 1

Plugs using NGK... mechanic advise me not to use it but i still use so far so gd heehee.

my chain is not DID ... DID is too heavy for 400cc sprocket pls note. although its good i admit but ur sprocket wear out faster.

Reserve is when the bar start running from left to right (non stop) after the last bar

15 litres?? ur reserve didn't activate isit?? if run until dry, should b 18 litres n not 15.

do check ur spark plugs or the spark plug cable. mayb not firing well so to ride at the required speed, u need to throttle more. so fuel consumption is high.

just a possibility. may b right or wrong wan.
