SYM GTS200 group

Saw 5 GTSes this weekend, then about 4 on way to KL! The Malaysian bikes all quite new looking, the VTS on the side quite prominent.

I wonder if its because I'm riding at GTS that I notice them more or that there really are a lot of GTSes running around?

 

There are a lot of GTS on the road now, I believed. I went to Future Scootering today to fix the aluminium anti skid foot rest and it left one last piece.

Just need members advise here on windbreaker or jacket. What type or brand are you using? I bought one Adidas jacket cum rain jacket recently, but I am all perspiring inside, using the jacket. Now looking for one just to put on to wad away traffic smell on my shirt.

I read the Malaysia forum, they were saying their Vts is a newer version. Gts is an older one and no more in production. My Gts was produced and assembled in January 2013. Vts and Gts are both identical.

Greetings Bro. Just noticed this thread! Haha.. I've been riding my gts200 for 10 months now.. Just to share what i noticed:

 

For info on fuel gauge, after the last bar, it will blink when it reached reserve. so when its not blinking, its not on reserve.

My bike can go as far as 320km-350km, and my 2012 GTS200 tank is ard 13 litres.

My calculations on the fuel mileage, there are 5 bars. From the top to 4th bar, it will be ard 60-70km of riding, last bar 40km and reserve ard 20km. So average is 25-26km/Litre

and maybe ard 1-1.5 litres of reserve.

But this is based on my weight of 100kg and riding between 80km/h-110km/h. Weight and riding style do plays a part on fuel consumption.

 

O/R is engine oil reset indicator. It will light up after every 3km and its time to change your engine oil base on its specification. U may go further if u want to but once u change your oil,

press the button and it will reset. it will re-light after another 3km and another and another.

 

Anyway, this is purely based on my 10 months experience riding GTS200 and till now its still smooth.. Most relax bike i ever ride!

Maybe u can calculate ur own too!

Will the last bar blink when it enters reserve?

 

Or it's reserve when it's solid last bar?

 

I've been riding about 50km on the last bar alr. Still not blinking.

 

Reserve is how many liters?

 

And what the o/r button on the meter for?

 

Searching online not really much help from elsewhere in the net haha.

Not really, just ride slowly...

Just one time the passenger peg hit the rear tire of car as trying to squeeze through... luckly the owner was resonable...
