I sent for my first servicing at 300 km (follow manual), second at 1000 km and follow by 3000 km. Subsequently, every 3000 km.

Just went to duplicate my spare key this afternoon and found that I can only insert halfway through. Physically check seems to be the same... got to bring back hardware shop to chk tomorrow. Or gts 200 key is special and need agent to duplicate?

I bought my original spare key at weda enterprise(SYM spare parts agent) @ rowell road and duplicate it at normal locksmith/key shop.. Able to open seat, lock handlebar and start engine just like original key except that i cant lock my ignition hole due to different 'magnetic' lock(the hexagonal shape of the key) as they say.. Im not sure if using other duplicated 'normal' key can be use or not..

Bro, means you bought an "empty" key from Weda and brought to a locksmith to "cut"? By the way, how much was the "empty" key?

Called mah and ask. The key cost 15 bucks w/o gst... so with gst ard 16 bucks bah... the sales person told me the key got chip... thats y so ex... tried my duplicated key from locksmith... all can open except ignition cannot on... dunoe whether its really bcos of the chip.

I tried the normal HDB shop but they don't have the compatible one. I searched the forum and find out about this shop that specialised in duplicating bike key. But the duplicate key is without the round thingy to lock the ignition slot.

Should be open on Saturday from 10 am onward to 5 pm. I paid 5 bucks for 1 piece and I duplicate 3 pieces. Hope this info helps.

The chip is used to open the magnetic lock that close the opening to the ignition. If you dont want to lock that thing, can duplicate any other key, can still switch on your ignition and open the seat cover
