Hi All, will need u guys advise n suggestions..

Due to family and financial issues, I'm now stucked and have not being able to pay my instalments which have already exceed 5 mths currently. Its really worrying and I'm feeling helpless.

Is it possible for me to sell or trade in the current bike (class2) to class 2B bikes with the current situation? Bt which shop is willing to take?

Getting a 2B bike I could sign up for Food Panda or Grab Food as part-time so as to help out with my current financial matters.

What do u think? Pls advise..

Thank u in advance.. 😞

You dont have much option and only choice to me is to let go of the bike as soon as possible and free yourself from the debt in long run..

@deathadder  So far for brand new bike, Honda SF is about 1K lower than HD Street, now unsure.
For brand new Bike, you will have to check:

  • What year was the price published?
  • What does that price cover? E.g; Inclusive of COE (Calculate the all in ride off price will be best.
  • What year & version of production
  • Depreciation Value

For pre owned check the following;

  • Year Registered and balance Years to end of COE
  • COE Value at date of Bid & Bike Value.  Taking into consideration of depreciation and balance (unused years)
  • Bike Model & Version (Some bike have special version which will be extra or limited edition
  • What accessory have been mount or upgraded.  Seller will factor in the amount on top of the estimate value of the bike
E.g; New Tyre, Renewal Road Tax, New Paint Work, Overhual Servicing, Top Box, Side Panel, Branded Brake Level and etc etc etc....

So it will be up to the buyer, if all those addon or accessory and etc are up to buyer's expectation or needs.

Supply and demand too. Super4 is a VERY popular bike that has high demand thus better resale value.

The HD bikes might be great but a lot of people are worried about maintenance cost, depreciation, etc thus their 2nd hand values will drop faster. Not to mention HD bikes have a higher road tax, insurance costs, etc.

Popular bikes like XMAX, Aerox, NMAX, ADV150, CB400, all hold their values decently well.

But at the end of the day, buy what you like and enjoy the bike!
