Can we claim from LTA?

Last month met an accident on Aye Keppel toward Changi due road surface was covered by mud. The whole lane was muddy. So anyone know repair bill n medical claim can be claimed at LTA as my insurance is 2nd party.

first of all, there is no 'claim from LTA'. you want, you got to engage your own lawyer and sue.

 

same as the guy a few months ago slipped and fell and injured his back, sued town council and hdb. in the end, it was an out of court settlement.

 

but you have to remember, you have to prove that LTA was negligent. the guy tried to make a case by claiming town council or hdb used tiles that were not slip-proof when wet.

 

the fact that the road was muddy, i personally think it is far fetched to make a case that LTA is negligent because there is mud on the road surface.
