Then I would know where it is. probably the one sitting at the shop at woodland with a very specially number plate.

Is there one for sale in Woodlands?... what's the colour?... probably black or white... mine is the only purple DN-01 here... if it is for sale, then better grab if the price is right...

haha, saw ur bike many many time in e West =)

anyway this ctx is really a gd choice for those riders with shorter legs such as me... Now have to ponder over ncx or ctx.... But for touring which one will be more feasible? The ctx fairing version seems gd with e big windscreen and side panniers

Then I am wrong RoboTech. The one at the shop is the shop owner's DN. I doubt he will sell as he also like you not really using the bike. i suspect he has many bikes. thanks for the offer. hope still in love with the DN by then or maybe have different toys already. SIGHHHHH, life is like a box of chocolate

I live and work in the West, that's why my mileage is so low, hardly go to town... you staying in the West too?

Yes, one of the reasons I buy the DN-01 is it's low seat height, I am also a short guy...

Going somewhere isn't why I ride... riding is why I go..

Past rides: XL100, CG110, Elsinore 125, CB175, CB250N, CX500, CBX400F, GL1000, CBX-6,

V45 Magna.

Present ride: DN-01, Spyder RT LTD

No problem... life is like a box of chocolate? Why, too many choices dunno what to choose is it?.... maybe the shop owner uses the DN-01 to attract more people to his shop?....

Hahahhahhahah. i am looking for a scoot/ bike for my age where it must fulfil a requirement which will not make me go around looking . buying and selling machines. currently i am buying and selling bike every half year or 1 year. tired lah. trying to settle down. get me a average power/torque scoot/bike for my going to work and leisure.

soon will be fifty. while cb 400 is great, but just cant get this feeling that i may be dissapointed with it .

the DN mentioned was placed at an alley next to his shop. it surely not for people to view. my first visage of the DN when i used to go Parkway Parade. my desire to own one was stirred then. as i used to own 2 deauville, i beleive its power, torque, height and weight (270kg) maybe just idle for me. even though it weight is much more than Deauville, but because of its height, it is easier to handle just like my previous Shadow 750.

Saw NT700V, seems to be a good bike too. Any opinions regards this bike?

BTW anyone knows why NT700x is priced so much higher than CTX700? I don't really understand the specifications of a motorcycles, hope someone here could help. Thanks.

CTX and NT are both 700cc, shouldn't the price be in the same region? The only major different I can find is the final drive by chain or shaft. Does the different final drive by caused major price different?

Yeah, I know what you mean... when I get back to riding after laying off a while, I was thinking what type of bike that I can keep forever, then the internet shows the DN and I am hooked, my friend tells me there is one at Looi's, the rest is history... the problem with the DN is that if you need storage, you need to choose the boxes carefully to match the bike lines, that's why I haven't fitted any to mine... I think BS still selling the DN, 2009 or 2010 model and Honda has already stopped production... I think....

NT700V is a touring model, comes with side boxes, large fairing, V-Twin engine and shaft final drive, that's why it cost more... engine same cc doesn't mean the price of the bike must be the same... everything being the same, a final shaft driven bike will cost more than a chain driven one because of its complexities and cost of manufacture... if you remember during the 1970s and 80s, Honda came out a 250 twin and a 250 four, the latter's cost almost twice that of the former...

i guess our local distributor make the comparison of the Honda integra scooter and DN-01 where the demand is very poor and make the assumption that probably demand will also be poor for the CTX.

That is a distinct possibility, why not wait for the Honda NM4? It also uses the same engine as the NC700... google it.

The demand for NM4 cannot be lower for DN-01 since the former has at least some storage and pricing wise it will definitely be much cheaper, the seat height is even lower than the DN... I doubt the CTX700 will be brought into Sg officially, since it has even less storage space than the NM4, if brought in it may have the same fate as the DN... sad destiny for it though, having own mine for close to 6 years and still going strong, it is a very good bike....

If you really like the CTX700 then PI is the only way to go.... I think BS confirmed won't be bringing in....the NM4 maybe got chance....

The MN4-01 DCT ABS ( without Panniers) came in 2 days ago!

I took a look. I quite like it.

I prefer MN4-02 with Panniers.

I have been resisting change or buy another bike for 4 years. The ogling for many beautiful bikes has been prevailing in me .... Why? Personally, I can't find any reason to change my Honda Deauville NT700V as I think it is a bike that does not give any problem and with enough 67 horse power and SHAFT drivetrain!.......I also keep my Honda Forza because is AT/CVT.

I have only one reason, if I change bike - I like to move or ride, by using thumb control, to AT/DCT with MT. The unusual futuristic, batsmobile look lure me..... hehe.....

In some way, to me, the MN4 Vultus will be like merging Honda Forza CVT and Honda Deauville NT700V into one new bike...... but I have to trade off my Shaft Transmission for a chain drivetrain....hahaha
