Hi Board!

Not sure which is the correct forum to place my first post, so here goes :)

I'm an American living in Pattaya, Thailand. I ride a 2010, carb model, CBR 150r. Singapore Bikes has an excellent CBR 150r forum so that is why I joined up.

I have ridden my thumper from Pattaya to Chiang Mai, 2,600 km loop. And also a couple of shorter trips from Pattaya to Surin, around 1,000 km duration.

I'm looking forward to ride the bike to Laos and maybe ride down to Singapore some day. I would visit Sinapore just to eat- the food is great there!

Any way, I'll post a few pics later.

All the best!

now got a man ride a cbr150 from thailand to singapore! good luck!

+1! support!

shows that even small cc bikes can still do 'touring'! :)

who says to 'tour', you MUST go above 130kph on NSHW?

Yeah, food here is expensive and often not nice...so sorry that you came here for food.

Actually, my trips to Singapore have been one or two day layovers, while traveling from Bangkok to Manila. Now I fly direst, but I enjoyed Singapore and some of the many interesting open air restaurants in the Geyling area. When I visit a new place, I like to check out the food, but thats not my primary reason for visiting :)

In 2008 I bought a Honda CZi 110 cc, basically a wave. Rode her all over Thaland, two trips to BKK to Chiang Mai. Up to Mae Sot on the Burma border, two trips top Koh Chang, took her over on the ferry and rode all over the island.

Yes cruising speed was 90-100 but whats the hurry? My CBR 150 can cruise at 120 easily, but some times thats too fast for Thai roads, oncomming drivers often cross over in to my lane and don't care if I am forced off the road. The largest vehicle has the right of way here :)
