well..tt shop wic quoted me 100 rm...was near where im stayin now in klang...den last week went to sentul..in kl.....e guy quoted me 35 rm for piston..n 20 rm for piston ring...i tink tomorrow wanna go there again ..go for over haul-he quoted me 100 rm-take out everythin-see wats wrong-i suspect my conrod..coz rreli shake like nobody's business...anyways...do u tink its cheap ?...the shop near my place reli wanna ketuk me man..luckily neber go...zzr was rite...sentul damn cheap..im plannin to go to penang after my exams ....jus for fun ride up w an apek bike..keke

i juz kinda like changed ma piston, block, gaskets, oil seals, coolant fan, coolant pump, swing arm bushin.....total up to be 625....that's in SING dollas!

it's a good bike to start off with coz i alwiz recommend to learn how to ride, get ya fundamentals rite b4 ya go "racing" and stuffs.....

 

cheap bike.....ard 200-300 can get liaoz............but think hafta renew da COE. i juz renewed mine....

 

problem free cept fer da radiator which tends to overheat quite easily........parts comes relatively cheap and are inter-changable with models like RXZ, RXK, RXS

pirce wise i'm not too sure abt it also.

wow tt is some serious overhaul....wat a swing arm bushing?...the block is wich part eh?..i tink w dis bike..i can onli push until 120 max...u tink if i just change the piston n piston ring...it wld increase the speed of the bke after i have run it in?...ur running in is every 800km...1.6K km...den 2.4K km...u change engine oil eh?...

i wld recommend rxz la...good resale value...rd 125lc is good if u wanna upgrade later to 2A......coz its pretty heavy for a 125.......i remember riding my friends rxz...feels so light..hehehe...

i wld take a rxz.....its air cooled.....also rxz...u can even go around msia on it....n spare parts r cheap in msia....n its got good resale value...u neber know...later u wanna upgrade...but ur too lazy to upgrade..or coz got no money...n u can stay w a rxz for a few yrs..u neber know..tts wat happened to me..hehehe...

I suggest u take a LC instead as RD comes with a valve it get kinda of problematic...as the bike is old already

By doing this, you will have a section of the 2T line without 2T, so during inspection, no white smoke.

 

Wah... if piston ring seize during testing... how?

 

I had never ridden one of these bikes but I keep hearing that it's a classic - the original hooligan bike. There's something about hitting that 7,000RPM powerband that gets people hooked to it.

personally i agree coz ive been riding dis bike for the past 4 yrs...need to lub the wires of the powervalve...n u cant lube the whole thing coz a bit in accessible.......but my bike has been serving me faithfully for all dis yrs...i guess i was lucky the power valve dont give me problems...coz it wld be costly to replace it...

haiyah...i use for transport onli la......as long it functions n i service it good2...im happy oredi...i tink i rather spend the money on travellin n other stuff..

I don't know of anyone who wants to sell their TZR...so I guess I have to buy from shop lor...my friends offered to accompany me to go down to the shop when I spot the shop that I'm interested in the TZR. What are the things that I should look out for when buying a 2nd hand bike? Care to give me some pointers?
