New piston just run 500km. Just try not to run over 110Km on sp n drag ur rpm. Once a piston is use sure got abit scratch. Piston is not easy to jam unless u talking abt 2stroke cause of 2T. Just do ur normal maintainance sure no problem.

hmz..play safe la...proper run in...u dun drag ur gears...smooth change of gears...and try to keep moving speed at a variation of 80 - 90km/h NEVER EVER keep speed constant ah...what else ah...hmz...and also just play safe ba..coz ur bike is SP right? 2 stroke ma...better to run ard 800km then u start to bring up the speed a little by little...dun strain it too sudden...and best...when ur engine is cooled...like..when in the morning or after u stopped very long..just warm it up let it idle for a ciggarette time which is...3 - 4 mins ba..then u move off lo...all this is if u very very dote on ur bike la.. :)

thanks..... but wat u mean by not keeping the speed constant? can explain? will it spoil? if i maintain speed at 80 will it be bad for tyhe piston? thanks for both the replies!

oh..bro..not keeping ur speed constant means like...u vary ur speed la...for eg..moving in open roads or expressways...u go at 90km/h a while..then drop to 80km/h for a while...then after that move to 85km/h...just make sure u dun keep 80km/h and held ur throttle all the way at one position for the whole journey..its not say bad for piston...but if u run in like that..when u suddenly finish run in and whack the bike up...MAY VERY HIGH likely to cause piston jamming and also will cause performance lost ah..so just vary it...80..then bring abit to 90 or 95...hold it there..and then back to 80 - 85...like that lor...

first 200km.. speed dun exceed 70km/h... half throttle max...

201 - 500km... speed dun exceed 90km/h... 3/4 throttle max...

change oil... semi synth would be good...

500 - 800km... moderatedly whack the bike in every gear... max speed 100km/h (sg road limits!)

most importantly is first 500km... use ALL gears.. but dun whack...

after 500km... use ALL gears... whack abit.....

2T input... top up according to specification...

thats how i did mine... 4stroke machine though.. haha...

engine is all about rpm. no use going at 70km/h but ur rpm at 8K. Bottomline is dun drag ur bike.
