Which app or sites do u think is the most accurate?

 

If you are using an app on your phone,what phone(operating system) are you on ?

Anyone depend on website(s)?

 

For me,it will be the 'SG weather' on IOS,however it 'fails' sometimes...like a few times over one year of usage?

Another one on the IOS. the 'Rain Map'. After loading,it will show you where the rain cloud is. Another tab will show you how it moves over 12 page of animations.

 

On the website;this is quite accurate,from NEA-http://app2.nea.gov.sg/3hnowcast.aspx.

 

So,anyone care to share ?

NEA site is the best. But the forecast can be vague sometimes.

 

Use the Rain Animation page for better results. You can see cloud/rain movements and use it to predict the rain in your immediate area or destination.

I use rain map. Usually before i step out from my office workstation, i'll open the app, then before moving off from the carpark i check again, usually can roughly see where the wind direction is by the difference in the rain cloud positioning. The shortcoming of the app is that it only tracks raining places, so even if there's very dark clouds and no rain at say Clementi, the app will show nothing at clementi. So if u suey, u go out and it start raining, then jialat. Hahaha...
