Yes, completely agree with you. Even at SSDC its like that.

That's why I do much more circuit revision and few road revisions. You can't really revise for road traffic situations. Only can practice the route; which if you know at the back of your hand; more or less set.

Possibility for immediate failure in circuit also much higher chance then on road.

BBDC road revision warmup in circuit 20 minutes, talk cock 20 minutes to share tips for TP by instructor, then the rest on road. Still okay.

It's been pretty long since I last posted anything here.. After all the courses I've been put into (NS). I finally have time to get back to class 2B. Took me 4 times to pass lesson 1.. Right now struggling with lesson 2. Geez.. It's really tougher than driving.

Posted

After two months of riding my own 2B bike, I can't wait for my 2A already.

Previously I've told myself I'll stop at 2B because getting a bike was for transportation.

Haha! All in good time bro! All in good time!

Watch twist of the wrist II on YouTube and read the book. You'll be amazed at how little you actually understand your bike!

so fast ah...haha. What 2b are you riding?

I was satisfied with my 2b all the way until I took my first 2a lesson. Went to the carpark and went home on my bike thinking 'wah why throttle no power one' hahaha. Then backside itchy. This is common, apparently.

It's all too common. I used to think id keep my KRR until class 2. After riding the cbr400, my KRR felt to me like a motorized bicycle, and I just had to upgrade.

Then the pattern repeated. I kept telling myself that a 400cc babyblade is sufficient for singapore roads. Then after passing class 2, backside just got too itchy.

If you're young, riding will never be a purely transport thingey ;) never discount the passion factor!

Riding Daelim VJ125, it's a big bike considered for class 2B.

But no power la. Only when those sotong bikers walk past when my bike was parked, thinking eh how come this 2A bike got P-plate ah?

Getting used to big bike getting ready to manhandle the super four.

Haiz... Today is just one of those days I think CDC is just out to get money... Must take lesson 8 again even though I felt great.. I have a feeling they will check if you have reached the quota for revision and then decide to pass our fail you...

bro i passed lesson 8 on my fourth try.. and it was because instructor give chance.

2 more points and i would have to retake again

Yup, they will actually look at your revision page one. They shouldn't in my opinion.

When I passed my prac 8 at the second try, I got only 8 demerit points, then the instructor say, TP that time go for more revision ah, but I went for only 2 CR and 1 RR before my TP.

Focus more on CR as it's where you usually get your immediate fail and there are eyes on you 99% of the time, stuff like blindspot and wobble will kill you before you know it.

Sometimes I feel it's that way but then again, I passed my lesson 8 first time and only did 1 CR and 1 RR and only on the day itself.

Maybe I was just lucky.

Finally passed my prac 1 on the 7th try :sly:

Your perseverance will take you really far bro. Keep going at it and never give up. I'll see you on the road before too long!

Yup correct. My school is at woodlands, so I left my bag, laptop, cig in my class, since I went there during my lunch break. You have to exit malaysia with 19 cigarette the most.

Guys I'm having trouble cancelling my lesson that is on the 3rd of Feb. Not sure what is the problem but in my booking summary it shows the lesson is there but in the cancellation page it's blank. Can't call cdc also because of CNY and Monday is the lesson already. Can someone help me? I don't want to lose $55 for nothing!

(P.S I have zero cancellations left but I'm was going to pay the $5.35 until this thing happened.)

Happy Chinese New Year all.

Wish y'all the best with upcoming pracs or TPs.

For those already riding, stay safe and ride safe.
