Practical 6. Just pay attention to your forming up and lane etiquette. Ride with confidence. Remember that filter lanes are the exception to the forming up rules. I.e in a filter lane only 1 bike row. There is one stop line that looks like a filter lane so make sure you stop and form 2 rows. Other wise everything is per lesson 2. And don't ride too slowly

Rijac, so the requirement to pass and clear Lesson 6 is all about positioning and lane discipline?

Back to positioning, a recap of Lesson 2.

The positioning for the first arrow from the left would be (left, right) , and the third arrow from the left would be (right, left) , which means two rows for single arrows, and,

the fourth arrow and fifth arrow from the left means one row.

But what about the positioning for the two arrows from the right? Especially the second arrow from the right, I recall there was a road with that arrow, and I already started to feel lost. :?

Second from right should be single row but is there really a road with that marking? First from right it depends which direction you are going. Straight means 2 rows turning means 1 row.

But I have to say I've met some pretty great car drivers on the road, especially those that move away in a jam when bikes are lane splitting. Maybe they just don't want to end up with a broken side mirror.

@ber its fun but need to constantly monitor the condition esp the oil

I do recall there's a road in Lesson 6 with that marking. Lesson 6 is so confusing, man. Even after reading your post. The rest who have got their license or cleared Lesson 6, share your tips.. Please? :pity: :?

Thank you @rijac for the advices!

Regarding the positioning that you guys are saying, when you talk about stopping in 1 row for the second from right arrow by @fat-lip, do you mean regardless of which direction you are going, all of you stick to the same one row in the middle of the lane? Or you mean if you are going left, you keep left 1 row. If you are going right, you keep right 1 row?

For those going straight at direction sign below, they can keep either left or right regardless if there are also people turning left? Is that correct?

One row is closer to the direction of turn and going straight is two rows for all those going straight

anyway if you need to check on the form up procedure you go to the nursery shed.. on the left hand corner of the notice boards there are the diagrams there. for forming up rules.

you probably didn't pass the first time coz ran out of time only. if you were up to third gear you should be able to pass second time.

Stationary move off left turn check 2 sides right turn check one side. Blind spot check while moving is always in the direction of your change of direction.
