Thanks for the info I booked it before the govt announced 11 Sep as polling day. That's why I asked.

Passed my practical 1 yesterday. I think the instructors gave chance. I had bike no. 12. Looked new, but needed manual kick start coz electronic starter not working. In fact, the whole of the right handle bar had issues. Front brake was very responsive, I can literately tapped it only every time I needed to stop, that was after instructor told me "no hash braking" when I did 1st round warm up. I also needed to open and close throttle gently because if I turned either side a little harder, the throttle and brake level would move in that respective directions. Yes, it's that loose. The busiest lesson I had. Felt great to pass practical 1 nevertheless.

Congrats!

I've just completed my orientation last Sunday... need to wait till Saturday morning to be able to make my PDL. too bad TP doesn't open after regular office hours.

Does anyone know if there is any other alternative? Cantonment police HQ can do?

Hi everyone.

I just enrolled at CDC for 2B. I understand that the best way is to do multiple lesson bookings and cancel at least 48hr before. The website states working days only, so does 48hours include Sundays? Meaning if I book Sunday morning and Tue night lesson, still can cancel in time? Another question is whether lessons can be "re-sold" to fellow learners? Can just print receipt and sell to another guy?

Thanks for help!

How is everybody doing for their lesson ?? Finally completed prac 3 after 5 times, now prac 4 stuck at plank just got my e brake chop today :( 2 time alr sigh!!

Dont sweat the total no.of lessons bro. The most impt thing is the test. Thats the one that really counts. Mk sure you practice practice practice hard enough to develop your skills, fluidity & consistency. Good performances during practice/revision builds confidence & confidence boosts performance for L5, L8 & test.

Another thing..... jus because people performed much better then you for lessons, doesnt mean they also pass their test 1st time. A few people i befriended along the way who were fairly good performers during lessons sadly had to repeat. Also... taking fewer lessons overall doesnt mean that if they pass, they pass well! I almost coudnt believe it that I passed well whilst the few I knew in my batch who also did waaay better then me during lessons were borderline passes or close to it. Moral of the story.... ignore what & how the rest are doing, just concentrate & focus on your OWN efforts. I repeat....The test is all that matters.

I guess I had a little luck on my day too..... but most of all, i practiced practiced practiced waaaay harder then most cos i recognised i was soooo jialat & needed the extra practice - 50crs & 6rrs! High $$ & time investment but it was worth it!

A bit paisay to put down my stats but if it helps you to show what is possible:

L1-5

L2-3

L3-5

L4-5

L5-6

L6-5

L7-4

L8-2

I believe this wld be the new benchmark for a long time. BUT if uncle doggy here can do it, no excuse why you cant! Just keep plugging at it, you WILL get there!

All the best!

Plank - all abt balance, eyeline & slow speed control.

balance & slow speed control- try following beginner L1 drivers around the circuit. Try & see if you can still keep balance at 5-10km/h w/o putting your foot down. Feather your clutch & throttle while doing so. Develops your throttle & clutch feel too.

eyeline - look ahead. Either look at end of the plank, the cones or even further then that. I alternate betn end of the plank & 1st cone. Do whatever works for you.

With or w/o the plank, the line is still the same. Just ride on that line. Get on the plank fast & regulate speed with rear brake. When you start getting the hang of things, try gradually reducing your starting speed or shortening the point where you close throttle & challenge yourself how slow can you go.

practice practice practice!

Don't worry and keep going for practice/lessons.

As for the slots for lessons, every now and then login and check. There will be earlier slots due to either school opening up more lessons or students cancelling their lessons as they passed earlier on.

Plank, body must be relaxed, eye point like what doggy says, look far, and adjust to what makes u feel comfy, then don't legs open big big, or jam brake with front brake also.

Just saw this yesterday... just sharing. Take your time and learn don't just hope to clear or compare if you're taking longer than "normal" - whatever your "normal" is.

Cheers!

@Metalskin is correct. Take your time to learn in school. Better fail in practical than fail in test. Better fail in test than fail on the road. Nothing is more precious than your life, and by extension, what your life is to the people around you.
