Hi all, This is regarding exiting from ebrake section. Most of the tips in this forum says while exiting the give way road sign, after ebrake, the road must be clear (2 lanes). What does this mean exactly ? How long the lanes (both the lanes) has to be clear ? what would be the rough guidelines that we can follow ? Any lights pls ?

Ronnie gave me a tip: before you move off, check the lanes first, then when near the bumpy before going out check your right mirror to see if clear. If got car then stop at the broken lines. If not signal right, check blindspot right and turn if no vehicle.

Best to slot in a few more crs. In fact better to have more cr then rr. so eg like 1 rr for every 4-5 cr. If there is a possibility of getting IFs & dropping pts, it wld be in the circuit rather then out on the road. So pls know your circuit like the back of your hand -skills, procedures & checks.

agree, do more circuit than road revision. Both are important, but from my experience, the road is easier to get used to compared to the circuit. I made a lot of mistakes in the circuit even after attending many circuit revisions, but only needed a few road revisions to be really confident on the road.

Cr youre on your own to do whatever you want. no pass or fail. I normally do 1 F8/crank for every 4-5 plank/slalom. If I see Mr Bahtera conducting lessons, i will spend more time where he's at. Maybe do 1-2 rounds full circuit in the beginning & then focus on the stations youre weaker.

My last 2 cr before test, I just did full circuit rounds for the entire session.

Hi, How to estimate the traffic light timings, especially the u-turn at Breadtalk building in airport road.

e.g. The moment when we reach near junction and only 1 vehicle in front of us, the u-turn signal is green (right turn arrow at the junction), then how to know when will this start blinking ? If it is not TP, then, even if it is blinking, if you happen to cross the line, you can continue to do u-turn. But during TP, this may attract IF even though one think they crossed the stop line before blinking, because TP may think otherwise.

How to estimate and handle this ? Any tips pls ? Thanks.

I would say just pay more attention on the traffic light. If Green Arrow Blinking, you are already cross the "Indicator Line" (tips: the "Stop Line" mean no traffic light around) then you must go. Why? Imagine what if you Stop after the indicator line (block the pedestrian crossing) or what will happen in the middle of the junction. :)

Tks. I completely agree, we should not stop after the precautionary stop line in junction with traffic lights (blinking or red).

But my question is in consideration of Class 2B TP test. The TP tester who looks the testee at U-junction, may think, testee should have stopped and testee may think (he/she may think, they already crossed the precautionary stop line before blinking) otherwise...

Anyway, agree that we need to pay more attention on the traffic lights.

Don't worry about that. As long you know when should go or stop without cause road hazard it should be fine & learnt what you had taught by CDC instructor. Unless the riding skill is very bad then will be aim by the tester. :)
