Always remember your safety checks and ride with confidence.

Bring your IC, valid PDL. Booklet and receipt not necessary but I would bring just in case.

Test is in sequence of age, eldest first, youngest last. Meaning number 1 would be uncle/auntie then number 50 would be an 18yo guy/gal. Im 20yo and i was number 48.

Expressway Familiarisation Ride is every Wed and Thur. Each day got 2 sessions, 1245 and 1430 (iirc). If u pass then just take on the same day, one shot one kill. It's a must to take the EFR in order to obtain your license.

Edit: And lastly, all the best to you!

That's correct with a note that foreigners start off first - (IC numbers starting with F and G) - basically the whole order is alphabetical.

Gotta take good care of your wrist from now till then man.

Speedy recovery & all the best for prac 5!

Wah jbern. Hope u passed that prac sia.

Dd, Prac 3 izzit plank ? Steady lah, u can do it.

Thanks for the well wishes!

Wrist seem to be okay but not at optimum now. (i.e. cannot go gym yet) But can ride just fine. Failed prac 5 damn suay my front tire clipped the end of the plank by 1 inch before exiting. Back tire was still on the plank! T_T

Now just gotta get my PDL renewed before anything haha

Wearing of a full face and jacket is a safety statement., its not a fashion statement.

An eye for an eye makes the world go blind,

it is then two wrongs to not result in a right.

Hello fellow learners!

I just passed my prac4 this morning, plank/e-brake.

Would you advise to go for CR before doing Prac 5 or take pra5 first to give you an idea on what to practice during revisions?

Thanks all!

I want to thank rijac for his detailed writeup on the various practicals and the TP test, and everyone else who contributed!

Passed my test yesterday!

Congratulations bro! :D

Most definitely go for at least 2 CRs first and try to nail L5 on the first attempt.

Waah failed my pract 5 today.

2pts sharp turn (don't know how i got this)

2pts slope roll backwards

4pts Ebrake (incorrect posture) i just tried to look down the start line on when to close throttle and brake, after that immediately looked ahead)

2pts wobble when moving and stopping (the hell??) i know for my self i dont wobble lol

2 pts sharp turn (juntion)

4 pts (forgot to signal left before exiting fig 8)

Motorbike practicals should be recorded for more accurate grading of students.

Oh well im just sour graping :) practice practice practice.

It's ok bro, you'll get better with practice!

For sharp turn, try to look at where you wanna go before/while turning, it helps for me.

For rolling back on slope, once you hit biting point (rev drops), check back and before you lift your right foot off the brakes, throttle more and release a bit more clutch. Not sure if it helps for you because it risks stalling IMO hahahaha.

Don't look down at the line where you're supposed to close throttle, instead you roll your eyeball down for a quick glance, don't move your head. Incorrect posture might be your arms never lock too. For me, once the orange light lights up I immediately lock my elbow.

As for wobbling, sometimes when we wobble a bit we don't feel it but people can see it or it might just be the instructor.

Signal can't really give u tips hahaha must remember.

All the best for your next L5!! :D

Thanks bro Nibz!

Great tips, will definitely take these with me during my cr and pract 5.

Really need more practice I believe and show the instructors what they want us to learn at CDC.

Have a great weekend ahead!

A good tip that Bahtera gave me was to grab the brakes the moment you pass the lamp post that's next to the line. Remember to look far and lock your arms.

Thanks bro 1128,

Lock arms meaning unbent right?

Yes. Just 'push' the handlebars away from you just before you reach the braking line & brake once the front wheel crosses it.
