cannot seem to find the specs online..for those who got or getting this, can share the fuel tank and eng oil capacity? thks

Here you go: http://www.honda.co.jp/400X/spec/#spec

http://www.motoroids.com/news/exclusive-india-bound-honda-400-specifications-revealed/

[TH=bgcolor: #EAEAEA, align: left]Fuel tank capacity (L)[/TH]

17

Not sure how much engine oil it takes, but should be less than the Super 4 due to its engine configuration.

i think its gonna do better than 30km/l, nc700 is already doing more than 30km/l for their twin cylinder.. cb400x tank is even bigger than nc700!

theres really no point for nc700x now.. only 6bhp more for that 300cc increase in engine capacity.

There is the weight factor also that you forgot to include.

You are forgetting NC7 is running on under square and CB over square. Then again you maybe right since it ran on 2 cyl instead of 4cyl. Smaller cc usually yields better FC.

If you compare horsepower then it's just horses at peak rpm.

According to honda.co.jp,

NC700X:

[TH=class: ltr, align: center]Fuel consumption rate (km / L)[/TH]

41.0 (60km / h fixed area traveling test value)

[TH=class: ltr, align: center]Maximum output

(kW [PS] / rpm)[/TH]

37 [50] / 6,250

[TH=class: ltr, align: center]Maximum torque

(N · m [kgf · m] / rpm)[/TH]

61 [6.2] / 4,750

Honda 400X

[TH=bgcolor: #EAEAEA, align: left]Fuel consumption rate (km / L)[/TH]

39.7 (60km / h fixed area traveling test value)

[TH=bgcolor: #EAEAEA, align: left]Maximum output (kW [PS] / rpm)[/TH]

34 [46] / 9,500

[TH=bgcolor: #EAEAEA, align: left]Maximum torque (N · m [kgf · m] / rpm)[/TH]

37 [3.8] / 7,500

Better FC for the 400X, the NC700X should have better power and torque coming in at a lower RPM due to the increased engine size.

4000 rpm at 6th gear around 80km/h

First tank of fuel currently running FC around 20km/l (cb400x has FC indicator) only....maybe because of maintaining low rpm (below 4500)

My super 4 can do 27-28km/l easily with 80 to 100km/h. But I thought maintaining low rpm takes lesser fuel? Just curious. :)

Is it the Revo? Any modifications? Perhaps the number will be different on the CB400X once the engine is run in?

How is the ride though? Any good?

I'm riding a 13 years spec I, only having a full yoshi system no modifications done.

I hope to get good news about the FC soon. :)
