Hi guys,

I'm riding a spark. I've got rear disc brake (racing boy) with racing footrest, during rainy days my rear brake doesn't work that effectively as compared to dry days. Is it due to my brake hose or due to the rain? i can't really feel the slowing down whenever i press on my rear brake during rainy days.

just fyi, during normal dry days the rear disc brake isn't that effective as well compared to drum brake. im okay with it but its much worse during rainy days. I rely more on engine brake.

Can anyone help me on this?

2 possibilities. First brake pad, 2nd tyre traction not good for wet ground, somemore lousy brake pad, hence ineffective. If your pedal is very soft then u need to bleed, else normally should not be a prob.

Got chance its brake pad. Most likely worn because I can't imagine them making racing brake pads for Spark because that's the effect of them, need to be heated up to be effective.
