Updating of Driving License

I passed my 2A in 2011 but did not update my driving license. So now the back of my license still reads 2B. Am I able to go for class 2?

 

I have checked my records on SPF but it says my driving license is 2B. Don't tell me I have to retake 2A.

even if TP has no record, at least the driving school has it, so check with the driving centre... unless u r trolling us?

Impossible maybe u check personally with traffic police counter and take your last passed 2A result show them. Also get proof from driving center.

 

When I got my 2B passed the instructor took my class 3 driving license endosered by tP counter and sticker shows class 2B passed date together with class 3 passed date back then

I believe the tester's job is only to 'chop' and sign a 'pass' on the trainee's test document. subsequently, not tester's job to update the TP license database. (i know tester use laptop, but i dun think that laptop test software is directly connected to TP licence system and database.)

 

It is the trainee's responsibility to bring the 'chopped and signed passed' document to TP counter, for TP to endorse the pass and update the system with his latest licence. if you failed to do this, then of course the system has no record of your licence upgrade to 2a.

 

the question now is whether the 'passed test' becomes invalid after a period of time of not having it endorsed. if there is no time limit, you just need to get back the documents and bring to TP counter.

 

but if some stipulation says your pass is no longer valid if you fail to get endorsed after 6mths/1year/2years etc etc..... tough luck bro.

I think its a similar case if you order chicken rice and paid for it and don't collect for afew months without any records

Driving safely is very essential for every one.You may use hip protectors and other safety things but license provide your driving legality.Anyhow thanks for updates.
