Bros/sis,

 

I have a question. During lunch tried to start my bike, but the keyhole gave me problems. Have problem going from "off" to "on". Sibe sian. Tried almost 10 mins then managed to get to "on" . After that i switched back to "off", could not get it to "on".

 

Any suggestions how to solve?

 

Not sure if my key is marginally crooked or the damn keyhole lacks lubrication. Will try lubing with my scottoiler later when i knock off and hope i dun take forever to start bike

 

WD40 is your fren.

 

Just spray your key with some WD40 and repeatly jiggle it in, on, off, out.. it'll loosen the ignition up a bit..

hard to get a saddle bag or tail bag to mount it on the tank.

nromally saddle or tail bag uses strips to mount on the read of your bike.

when used on your tank, it will be that stable.

 

tank eitehr use tank bag with magnets or use bagster tank bags with tank bras

 

Any pro and cons of tank bag against rear saddle/tail bag?

 

it's from Japan... accessories & gears from Japan yamaha...

all those you see unusual one from my siggy all from there...

True... warranty can be a pain in the bum.

 

Bought my Q2 and been using it over 2 years without any problems.

 

Guess if there was any problems... just send it back to the States to get it replaced.

i saw 2 sportsbikes that was converted to streetfighters.. 1 cbr600f4 and 1 03r6.. if the cbr600 was on sale before i bought my fz6 i might have went for that.

 

The F4 is mine and is on SALE now. Cheap and good

Is it really running cooler? Shop out of EC so I'm using WaterWetter. Think it's slightly cooler but maybe psychological cost I spent money on it

spray wd40 in.. or gt85.. slot the key in and out a few times.. it should be smooth.. mine also like that when i forgot to bring my bike cover to ict..

ohhhh.. yeah hi! there's a givi rack is meant for cbr600f4 1 right? i guess later versions of sportbikes dun have givi racks or other topbox rack dedicated to it.. anyway your sales came too late.. i cannot sell my fz6 so soon...

Man, I'm so bummed right now.......aftnn after lunch couldn't start my bike....thought it was battery flat...had my bike towed all the way to bikeshop....replaced battery , was happy can start again but after that the mech checked the battery was not charging....checked the rectifier ok...then he opened the magnetic coil.....that's when the ball dropped....inside the magnets all broken and the coil was damaged.....just bought the bike 1 mth already spoil so jialat....i wonder if the prev owner knew abt this.....now pocket sure got hole.... need to replace the whole magnetic coil and magnets and clean the insides of the engine.....now in the meantime have to stick to bus and mrt.....so sianz....

Since it was almost 7pm just now, the spare parts shop close already, so they will advise me the actual cost tomorrow.......but i checked the parts prices online and it costs usd$402.25 for the rotor assembly and usd$260.62 for the stator assembly....so roughly abt sgd $1k i guess....

if you buy the wrong size tank bag, if it's big and ur hands r short, it will hinder your movements & if u have gadgets near the handlebar, it will block them...

a tail bag will not have this problem but u may experience difficulty climb onto your bike... a pair of long and sexy legs will help in this way...

 

no i have yet to buy any... this is for fantasy for me as of now...

today i spent a bomb already on my new angel...

i think these cosmetics mods will have to wait till the end of the year till my YEB & PB liao...

it's expensive for the magneto coil... yatz had changed the coil + batt + rectifier b4 and if i'm not wrong, it cost him around $700 or so...

am i correct yatz?
