Hihi,

 

Anything to take note of when collecting my new fazer 6 next week? Anything to check and be aware of? This is only my second purchase of a bike....hee hee :sweat:

mi in operational sqn, super puma sqn, always busy one

let mi go meet my sqn frez, long time no meet them n go chiong liao

bacisally nothing to check one, just go install sliders or crash bars 1st thing u get ur bike

Not sure whether you're the kind of owner that want specifically what brand of product to use on your bike, but you might wanna bring those product that you prefer to use for them to install (e.g Radiator Coolant).

 

Generally, do check the standard reading of everything like the engine oil level, radiator water level and brake fluid level for Front & Back container.

IU wise, you might wanna buy the IU leather cover & ask them to install together.

IU bracket wise, try to get the bracket with the 4 rubber washer that cusion the IU unit. You might wanna check out where normally ppl place their IU. For my case, left side of the handle bar. Senate747 is the only FZ6 that placed at a hidden place which I find it not bad to hide but a bit difficult to see(Anyway seldom require the reading). You might wanna check with him

few years back, there used to be a JC pub at the corner..... lots of young FL from viet, cam, laos. my friend say they dun even charge if they like u. then it was closed for some reasons.....

I only wash every 2-3weeks. Depending on how dirty it looks, no matter got rain or not.

u still remember where my IU is ah. :sweat: i think mine is the only one with the IU in that position so far. it's more to the centre in between the handle bar and the display. in my case, it's not blockin my view at all as I can see all the stuff on the display clearly. actually i did not requested a specific position when i bought the bike, the guy at the bike shop actually mounted it there and told me it looks better being more conceal and won't block the display. I have attached a pic of whr the IU is.

Hey, dont mind help me ask how much the IU Bracket+Installation cost if I want.

Does your IU Bracket comes with the 4 rubber washer for the screws?

Where's the shop ah?

Can trade in sort of 'New' but 2nd hand IU Bracket? Heehee

Or can give me the contact no of that bike shop & I'll call on my own. Thanks :smile:
