or expensive, or exotic machinery. I'm continuing to mod my bike into exactly what I want it,

and enjoying every mile I put on it.

main difference between them are the bhp, u want more horse power get fz1, but it'll put a bigger hole in your wallet cos of the steeper insurance n rd tax. think fz 6 will be gd enough for the daily communtin in sg and the ocassional tourin in Malaysia :cheeky:

Heehee, actually I'll be about 2 car length away & slightly at the side so as to siam if they brake hard.

BTW, how to adjust the height of the head light? Or maybe you can roughly show me if you're coming for this friday gathering

hard to explain here, shw u how during the meetup, basically only 2 screws or nuts for each light, they are diagonally across, one for adjustin vertically n the other for horizontally.

Yap. Since kazuhiko had mentioned short trip to Malaysia, I think FZ6 is good enough. But if dont mind throwing for a bigger bike, then by all means get the FZ1.

i face the same prob as u when i choosing my cl2 bike. struggling between fz1 & fz6. basically to me the major diff is the bhp. other den tht is the appearance. fz6 is undertail exhaust n fz1 right side exhaust, fz6 efi fz1 carb, fz6 digital meter fz1 analog meter. so far dis is wat i notice between the 2. but IMO fz6 is already a good enuff bike unless u r thirsty for power den u shld get the fz1. anyway both bikes r COOL. :goodluck: :thumb:

cos the price difference between the fz6 and fz1 is abt 2k, fz6 got people abt disadvantage of fz6

by pauche he is saying fz6 got not so good suspension, worse handling, worse 2 pot braking calipers and worse hot pillion butt than the 04/05 fz6, even at 80 rwhp, pick up oso can lose to S4....

bro, price is 2 k, but insurance every yr is a few hundred more. also i have nt heard a single complain from my passenger on the underseat exhaust. pick up wise i dun think will lose. initially when the shop tell me not much power diff, but after getting fz6 n riding it, u can feel wat a difference the extra 200cc make. if u want pick up, get the MT01 lah, that one the pick up lagi best. :cheeky:

In addition, the handling for this bike is quite gd, u'll be suprised that it's better than S4.

its ur choice at the end of the day.... on wat u really need? cost savings or better power/handling. some can tolerate the bike, some can't and many sold for that reason after a year or less.

i chose power/handling, thus i sold the fz6 with no regrets. :goodluck:

Well, I also think you wait till Aug for new model. Well, FZ6's handling is actually not bad especially in corners. So far, I personally feels that FZ6 handling is much much more better than S4. Cons about FZ6 are front forks, front brakes & engine torque is better when over 7000rpm.

IMO It's just nice, 1-4rpm real slow acceleration for crusing. 4-7rpm slightly better respones for higher speed. 7-12rpm, well can play with anybody if you want.

Not trying to boast but I went on par with my friend's CBR929 in a twisty road & he even said it's kinda siong for him to corner here & there where I just feel shiok!

IMO If hunger for power, sport bike. If hunger for real comfort, crusier. If want an all-rounder Fazer! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Upright sitting postion plus Lower RPM to cruise, mid RPM to tour & higher RPM to play :thumb: I think I can become Fazer salesman liao

:goodluck: in your decision
