30L will not fit any helmet except maybe for half-caps. 40L can take most OFs and some FFs. Best to do a test when buying the panniers or the helmets.

 

some differences i was told abt FJR panniers and the one for FZ1. can't remember what they are. They shud fit a helmet each.

 

06FZ1 no helmet lock leh, helmet hook maybe can use the one underneath the seat.

for me, i am really too lazy to carry my helmet around... so wear cheapo open face helmets on SG road so that I can just hang them around without being worried of it being stolen... (previously riding S4) but without a helmet lock, it is quite a pain...

 

gotten my bike on Sat and when shopping in town... then was there for next 15mins at the carpark trying to figure out where to hang my helmet... my mistake for not doing enough homework... kekeke...

 

plus the storage space is really pathetic, so decided to install panniers... which will also come handy when I go touring...

Hi guys I just bought the FZ1 last sat..I have a question..My bike is still on running in, but what shocked me is the fc..Chiak petrol, now its 222km and the last portion of the "E" is blinking but I remember that i started the bike with the fuel gauge running a straight line like the super 4 when its on low fuel..Should I wait till the gauge running a straight line?

i also gotten my bike last Sat... where did you bought your bike from and what is the price?

 

Got mine at ASPhoon for $18.5k OTR...

 

i also running so dun really care about the fuel... the first few tanks just for agar agar... until complete run in then clock your mileage lah...

Think its telling you that its time to top up petrol.. anyway its about 16km/L, so you are not far off from what the other guys are getting for this 1L beast...

 

When you get into the "straight line" mode as mentioned, think that is your reserve...

I used to get 240-250km mileage during my running in , now onli reach 220km mileage . :mad:

I am joining a group of bikers to Klang waterfall this Sept 24. A day tripper.

Does the blinking is jus a warning first then it will go running straight like the super 4 when the fuel is low? Do you guys encounter this? If I could recall the first time when I took out the bike the fuel gauge is running straight like the super 4 fuel gauge, try to check the manual but not written..

the blinking is a warning of low fuel...usually i juz top up when the last segment of fuel blinking...from my knowlegde it's 4L reserve fuel which can last u for about another 60 km or so b4 empty...usually after running mine only hits ard 220-240km befor enters reserve if travel on highway most of the time..btw yrs is a fairing or naked?

hey guys wanna check wif u guys how bad is the underseat storage space for the 06 model fz6-n? the understeat model? no helmet lock as well rite?? any kind souls wif pics to share?? thinking of gettin it... thanks for the help in advance!

storage confirmed very small...enough for just some emergency tools and no helmets lock...pics ah..
