well, this is the my first class 2 bike... so alot of things also dunno what to expect...

 

anyway, i think this bike is worth every single dollar invested in...

165-240 depending on where you get. easily 3-4yrs.

i believe the top 2 choices would be akra and arrow...

 

both have their plus...

 

arrow one shorter which keeps the current trend of smaller exhaust...

 

akra's a totally new model, so call diamond sharp...

i have looked through the whole user guide... there is nothing to say any indication when the batt is weak...

 

i remember for my S4, the needle make 2 round of turns instead of one during initial start to indicate low batt... is there something similar for Fazers?

nope. never change before. the battery is so long lasting you probably will change bike before you change the battery. my last battery lasted >3.5yrs and still going strong. all you need is a lab voltmeter and some education to know the health of your battery.

 

for yammy parts check with automachinery, autocycle, evershine, and weda for the best prices.

3.5yrs is blood long for a batt... i would have probably change the batt around 3 yrs to play safe... last thing i want to have a dead batt during on of the distance touring...

Actualli cl2 bike dun need to spend so much $ if u dun zhng here & there , running costs should be like s4 . Onli parts r a bit more expensive .

 

But i do actualli spend more $ on my fz1 as compared to my former R1 . Maybe its becos its going to be a longtermer to compliment my plans for a car .

i kind of agree...

 

depends on what you do with your bike, the maintenance will vary... eg if always go track maintenace sure super high...

 

but then again, if get class 2 already still ride like class 2b... then i guess might as well get a class 2b bike to start with...
