Your FZ1 is the EFI model (06 or 07) right? Normally what rpm you change gear? I hook up at about 4,000 or 4,500 rpm thru out all gear range, is that too high?

Mine's a '06

Your rpm is normal. That's wat i do to.

I noticed da same as well. I tried two things

#1 try riding at higher speed. 110 -120 when possible.. jus dun get caught!

#2 fill up ur tank to the brim.. after the pump stops.. let it the fuel sttle a bit then pump a little at a time till u get 1/2 way to the top of the tank neck. U'd be suprised how much more u can top up!

Last thing I can thing of.. get a PC3 and do a set up for ur end can... g'luck! :thumb:

That's happens due to our bike is automatically (electric) choked upon start, therefore resulting in slightly higher idling rpm and rougher engine sound when the temp is below a certain range. So it's recommended for all fazer riders to warm up ur bike b4 moving off (you don't ride with your choke on right?). Cheers.
