oh isit? hmm...actually heard their service is lo**y, bt nvr went there though. So where else do u recommend to all fazeriers(affortable & reliable)?

 .. u never been there but u recomend? :slapforehead:

I recomend all fazerions to find their own werkshop.. diff peeps are comfortable at diff places.. 4 me, I dun mind paying a bit more for peace of mind so I usually go to motorworld or unity.(not recomending, jus saying where I go) but dats just me.. I'm sure everyone here has their own place they like.

It's very hard to get affortable & reliable at one place..usually u scarifice one for the other...

Maybe I'm just old school, I prefer the old school way of breaking in despite my mechanic's recommendation :p

Ya, he told me dyno break in will not affect the engine since it's in a controlled environment.

or u cud 4get the RPMs and do a dyno break in! :thumb:

Ditto to that.

If worry about petrol and FC, get a 2B bike. If want a CL2 bike, these have to throw out of the window :D

Worried abt FC & cost of petrol rising...........

Get a pulsar! :cheeky:

i thinking of doing the Dyno Run in.

Faster and will do gd for ur engine for long term.:cheeky:

This is debatable. Sum peeps say yes sum say no. I did mine on a dyno n so did several other frens on various bikes. No problems so far.

where to do this dyno run in may i ask? And hw much will it cost? Any diff with the normal run in?

SG has 2 dyno machines. One at Unity at bukit merah. I can't remember the other. I think it's at Ubi. I did mine at unity and it cost me SGD 80. Took abt 3hrs for 3 cycles.

Lots of diff between a soft and a hard run in. See this,

Again, not recomending. Just sharing experiences. It entirely up to you how u wanna break in ur engine.

Fellow Bros, i need recommendations for 06'Fz6 end cans badly. Cant tahan the look and sound of the stock exhaust. i call Motoworld for Remus, they say Remus cost 1.6k and above, O.O. No stock even if i wanna spend the dough. Need to order and wait till April. They have Yoshi titanium in stock but i dun like the shape of yoshi on the Fz6. Any other recommendation? Pls tell me the shop that carries watever pipe that u'll b recommending so i can go chk it out. Thanks Bros!

I'm using Leo Vince Aluminium cans for my FZ6 '06. Not bad and quite reasonably priced. 1.1k with inspection(have to go myself). Wanted CF ones but not enough budget.Surveyed the Yoshi and yes the looks put me off.

Perhaps u can try the GPR CF.Quite nice the new design.1.3k.Performance wise not sure.U can PM the GPR guy in the Advertiser thread.

Micron,Arrow and Akrapovic i asked b4 was 1.6k.

on the topic of running in...to me the thrill of buying a brand new bike is that thrill of running in the bike painstakingly...enjoying the slow pace of life while the engine breaks-in..now that priceless...I wont pay anyone or put my bike on some machines to run-in..

anyway, most engines are already factory run in these days, we are just doing the last procedure of the running in process
