Meaning a simple dyno with nothing on my bike = no help of cutting down backfire?

 

the whole point of doing a dyno is to tune the bike so that the fuel air mixture is just right for optimum power output. you can't do that without a PCIII.

 

as for the backfire, some use a simple method whereby they just remove the AIS system and epoxy two coins to block up the holes on the plates. If you dun understand what i am talking about, i suggest you do a search for "AIS removal" on the fz1oa forum.

think most of us just fixed the AIS kit n bingo, no more backfire, dyno i also dunno cos never done b4

I tot the best way to build power or speed is to pump more air into your air box which would be directly compressed into our engine which would be the output of our bike? In the case where they are so call taking out the air pump and closing up the hole (which is previous connect by a hose to the air pump)... This means that there will be lesser air going into the air box right? Which means lesser power in this case?

once you are done, push your pampered bike into the rain and wait for the rain to stop...

bike will be very clean

try to water proof your fuel tank cap area before pushing into the rain

Whoa~ this is getting more and more technical. In any case this excessive backfire will not result in wastage of fuel or damage to engine right? If that's the case then i would not be bothered to solve it already...

it all depends on you, how techincal you want to get ya

else you can ride more, worry less

just for info, it does damage to your headers in the long run
