While there some issues with the bike, but you have to understand that no bikes are perfect. It's only a matter of whether you can accept them and rectify or live with it.

Despite all these, still no regrets getting this piece of rocket :D

I am now suspecting it is the TPS out of syn, cos when i gas it hard, it delay for a while, jerk and jerk than the power comes.

Yes that's a TPS problem known to the older R1s where our engine came from... If i'm not wrong there was a recall for fix this TPS problem during that time (when it happened to those batch of R1s)... Does this happens only recently? So far i dun face this problem but my bike does die off easily in low rev (not due to poor clutch control)...

So far heard / known of a few who had this problem. Although it hasn't happened to me (touch wood), I'm not taking any chances.

I stumbled upon something known as throttle bodies in fz1oa but didn't quite understand what was it used for? Can someone enlighten me on this... It seems to me like adjustment of fuel air ratio? So i got to do this after i changed my exhaust?

Haha I either cover my bike on Open CP or park in Multi-storey so quite safe...

Ya, I'm not taking any chance either hahah :D

If u have a tank bra, i've seen ppl using decal to cover the tank cap. Some hv sewn extra "leather" cover over the tank cover opening too.

I don't really make it a point to keep my bike from water... I normally park it in the open (meaning if rain = bike wet)... I'm just relying on the water leakage system just under the fuel tank cap to drain out excessive water... So far i'm not getting any problem from it... 1 or 2 droplets of water into your fuel tank is not going to causing your entire engine to malfunction or explode... Relax guys take it easy...

Individual preference & luck lor. If something goes wrong, just standby the $$ for repairs. Prevention is better than cure. :thumb:

Actually , when ever i park my bike n canvas it nowadays , i always place those sports bands on the fuel cap , it actually help to soak up the rain water which might have seep thru the cover . So far have not discovered signs of rust in the internal fuel cover .

This was the damage that was previously found on your fuel tank cap? Or water seeped through and it entered the fuel tank?

Hmm... Strange so anything particular happened just before or on Tuesday itself (which is supposed to be the day that this started happening)? Or this problem on arise on those days that's Tuesday; Monday Wednesday Thursday etc no problem? If that's true then it's eerie man... :cheeky:
