no bro, my bike bery stock

You have the bike manual with you? You might want to check what your error code means?

Either that probably have to get a reputable mech to take a look.

If this is the actual problem then you will want to let a reputable mech take a look at it.

USAFazer form you referring to http://www.yamahafz1oa.com?

I am reading it very keenly as well. I did do a search there for you about error 46 and nothing came up either.

Was wondering if anyone has tried doing Lars Airbox mod?? And cables re-route?

Anyone know where i can get Ivan's FCE locally installed?

These are all poison!!!

As Gohkm indicated...it means Power Supply to FI system not normal.

Most of the error codes can be found in the service manual (not user manual)

You download the error code table I've compiled here

Hey Guys,

I've got some issues with my 08 model's clutch. I have got 4000km on the clock and 2 oil changes later and the clutch is still doing the "slow to disengage stunt". Let me clarify the problems I am facing. When the engine is cold, when you pull the clutch there seem to be a rattling sound comin from the clutch, if you click it into gear, the whole bike shudders as the gear engages and the clutch is forced to disengage (the clutch is still engaged when it rattles). However, if I pull the clutch in and hold it there for some period of time, the rattling sound disappears (clutch finally decided to disengage) the shift into 1st gear is butter smooth.

It gets only marginally better as the engines heats up. The response to pulling is the clutch to disengage it gets faster but there is still a definite lag. Try this experiment: cruise along in gear, shut the throttle and pull in the clutch, the expected response is to freewheel, but NO, the bike will still engine brakes for about 1sec before it freewheels.

This issue is starting to get on my nerves as it compromises my normal riding style. It makes changing gears a cluncky affair and is down right dangerous when coming to a stop when the bike still wants to go on.

Anyone else experience the same problems as me or am the only 'lucky' one?

Sorry Guys THE ORIGINAL GOLD is no longer suitable for display

try loosening the clutch cable?

I took it from FZ1 service manual, but should be applicable to FZ6-S2 since they shared the same digital meter.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

You mean this?

Read in the BIKE mag, supposed to solve the efi FZ1's throttle problems but it also mentioned that you have to cut the wires, not piggy back it.

The price listed on the mag is $150 pounds and comes with a manual and colour photos.

Perhaps you can buy it online from the sgmotorsport website and get some bikeshop top fix for you since the manual and photos are given.

Best regards.

Yes they are exactly what i am talking about. I am trying to ask around if there is a bike shop who has the know how to install these items.

Guess we could get it str8 from Ivan. Would like to leverage on the weakening dollar rather than the sterling.

Hey, this sounds familiar.

It could mean that you need to adjust your clutch cable. Try at the lever end, and the clutch housing end.

If not, then it could be the old 04/05 R1's sticky clutch problem.

U see, some 04/05 R1's had a clutch stick problem, supposedly caused by some factory grease or lube applied. One of the solutions was to diassemble the clutch (go to a workshop) and had it cleaned out and then reassembled.

HL should have a history of this issue with the R1's. Go look them up. Yours is still under warranty right?
