SE is sales executive.

 

Black and white... no.. but i did question on that point. So they showed me 2-3 contracts that did a early termination in the last week. So i saw the invoices... there is even a refund on the interest not incurred if you terminate early.

 

i am 30yo now, 31 this year.. with $925 for insurance 2nd party with 20% NCB. Been riding for 14 years and never claimed on any insurance.

 

i am curious on BP claims on insurance that is inclusive to the $17800 price... coz a 23yo insurance is $2k++ and 30yo like myself is $925 after 20% NCB....

how can they include?? so if a younger fella who bought the FZ1 the bike price minus the insurance is 17800-2000= 15800??? And if its a 30 yo... $17800-925= $16875.

 

Too big a difference.. and dun makes sense... unless someone here can enlighten me.

 

I dun have any agenda. Nothing against anyone.... Just thinking aloud...

 

When I was looking for my bike almost a year ago, they qoute me a similar price. Having received the same treatment, I left but was stunned at the price. So I made a uturn and asked him again.

 

Price was inclusive of insurance.. and for me, below 26yrs old, it was only 800bucks.. a stark difference when compared to other companies of $1.4-1.5k. Only after digging a bit more then I found out that the insurance coverage was up max of 10k. Not worth it considering the price you're paying for the bike IMO.

 

anyone with comments on the reputation of Mah?

 

So I bought from Mah. Slightly more pricey but wayy better customer service, no hassle and got my bike even earlier than expected. After sales service was also good.

 

I am in no way connected to them, just sharing my experience. I still think they are pricey, even for their servicing~!

I went to AS Phoon Serangoon, but my SE is from Toh Guan.

 

the $17800 is otr.... which means only the Insurance is not included. No early termination nor pre payment penalty. Only a $5 processing fee if you are looking to early redeem your loan.

 

 

think u are the one who bought the white FZ1N as i was there and they was telling e they juz sold off the White FZ?

Oh I got my box and rack from 219. Close to $400 with a better plate with 4 connectors. Very sturdy. Worth the money if you're touring. The base plate is a must as the one that comes with the box is really crappy. would break if the pillion leans on the box too much!

i also heard good things abt the tiger fr the tiger salesman.

but have not found any materials to support his findings.

 

nobody sales guy will sell a tiger and tell u to buy a fazer right?

but its not too fair to compare, the price diff. is steep.

Am I the only only to suffer the FZ1 "clutch slow to Disengage" problem? Sibei irritated...cannot ride the bike as I normally do due to the slow response of the clutch. Very upset with Yamaha, after owning 3 Yamahas, the 4th one is really a piece of crap.
